That’s kind of the point of the thread. Dr. Fauci’s numerous instances of providing disinformation on masks is responsible for many lost lives. Instead of being angry at him, you are angry at people who fell for that disinformation. Dr. Fauci is an intelligent and articulate man. He’s clever enough to get folks like you to hate PF members instead of himself when he is the one most responsible for deaths due to non usage and mis usage of masks on his recommendations.

The most disturbing lie is the lie claiming Fauci recommended against masks to save them for healthcare workers.

If his recommendation was intended to save N95 quality masks for healthcare workers, he would have reversed his recommendation when warehouses in the US started filling up with domestic production certified N95 masks the producers couldn’t find buyers for. I can kind of understand people who are in love with Fauci because he looked cross eyed at Trump a few times and want to defend him lying when masks were in short supply. But defending that lie when N95 masks are readily available to anyone who wants them is absolute insanity.

Amazon is complicit in the fraud, not reversing their policies when masks became available. Why should they when Fauci and the CDC were still falsely claiming US citizens shouldn’t wear high quality masks?

There were still shortages for critical workers. The problem was distribution. Many new companies and suppliers emerged without the supply chain to critical institutions.

I’ve been linking to sources of N95 masks—numerous ones. I could not have done that in January and February if the issue was supply chain. If I can pick up my phone and order all the N95 masks I want delivered to my door the problem is not supply chain.

You guys bought the lies. Fauci was telling you in July homemade cloth masks were as good as N95 quality masks. It’s an outright lie. It’s not conspiracy talk, it’s easily demonstrated denial of science.

It’s not complicated. It’s very simple. A dude lied repeatedly and you fell for it.
