And the irony here is that the Russians actually INVENTED this kind of war. The "Molotov Cocktail" the Ukrainians are using; well some of them may be asking older relatives for the finer points there.

I used to admire him. He has lost my respect. Furthermore, he has lost more Russian soldiers in one month in his own back yard, than America lost in twenty years in two wars on the other side of the world.

Big dick missiles wouldn’t be needed if they had already accomplished all of their objectives. Screaming “my dick is big” isn’t a winning ticket, it screams fragile masculinity.

He already proved that lying to those kids and telling them they were going on training exercises. I hope he has some cyanide capsules stashed away because every parent in that country should tar, feather and quarter his evil dumb@ss.

Have you read or viewed any of the interviews from the American or British volunteers that deserted in Ukraine? They consistently assert that this is a very different war than Iraq and Afghanistan, because both sides have advanced weapons and training. The Ukrainians have received a lot of assistance from the US, and I'm certain there's CIA operatives imbedded within their special forces unit. The Ukrainian army looks to have been preparing ways to evade digital tracking, drone surveillance, covert communications, and all kinds of advanced guerrilla warfare techniques. I don't think the Russians expected to be hit from within the Civilian population (schools, hospitals, etc.). The Americans that have been over in Ukraine noted that Ukrainians are willing to die, and they'll use other people as canon fodder to draw out Russian soldiers and insurgents. This is about to turn into 'Total War' in Ukraine, and those foreign soldiers aren't interested in suicidal last stands.

In my opinion, the Russians view a victory in Ukraine as total annihilation of US presence within the country. It involves the installation of a Pro-Russian Government or Annexation of the whole nation. Clearly, Russia cannot allow the US Intelligence Agencies to transform Ukraine into a CIA Satellite-State that can threaten financial and national security interests. The US is the reason Russia is having this hard a time. And now that you know that the US has built this impressive force on your border, the only failure would be to give up.

Honestly when I saw the photos of Russian soldiers looting stores for food I felt so sorry for them. They clearly don’t want to be there and had no idea what was going to happen to them.

Some of the captured soldiers are babies (18, 19, 20 years old). They told the Ukrainians that they felt betrayed by him because they were lead to believe they would be welcome as liberators. Some of the Russian moms didn't know their kids were sent to an actual war and the last they heard from their sons was as they were dying.

I'm a parent and I could ring that bastard's neck. You don't mess with my kids. All bets are off. There is not a prison in all of Russia that would stop me if he sent my kid somewhere to die because of his dumb@ss fantasies about recreating the past.

    "CIA Satellite-State"???

Ukraine wants a Western economy. They don't want a Russian boot on their necks again. If you'd ever seen that, you wouldn't want it, either. That's why they are fighting to the death, even a lot of the Russian speakers.

This is a failure, either way, for Russia. Putins new plan is to turn Ukraine into rubble. That way there won't be a successful Western style economy next door.

But Putins main goal is to put the USSR back together. Putin knows Russia can't be a major empire without Ukraine. This war is Putins ego talking..

How do you even know that was real? If I had caught Russian Troops in Florida, I'd also make them say all that demoralizing BS. Are you even here to discuss the war or is this just a platform to discuss American and NATO war propaganda?

I'm going to need you to connect those dots. Why and/or how does either of those statement equate to your questioning my nationality?

It was just a question, what are you starting for? Is it difficult to answer "Yes - Russian", "no - not Russian"?

It's apparently Larry's blog and was started in 2019 with, of course, pro-Trump and pro-Russian propaganda: https://sonar21.com/browse/page/23/

At best, I would say the guy is a useful idiot.

Not all Ukrainians want a pro-Western Government. They shot one of their peace negotiators for daring to disagree on a hardline stance with Russia. They kill allegedly pro-Russian political opposition for speaking out. Everyone that doesn't agree is a pro-Russian operative. This was happening way before the Russians invaded.

Yeah. Cause this is all about stopping a Western Economy from succeeding. Ukraine has had like a 30-50% unemployment rates due to crippling US sanctions on Russian businesses. Ukraine is basically the Mexico of Europe. They're picking cabbage in Germany. lol.

And no. Putin isn't putting the USSR back together, because it's impossible from a geopolitical standpoint. They had a government that was seen as pro-Russia, and the US overthrew that democratically elected government to install there own candidate. They are bringing Ukraine back under their sphere of influence cause it's too important to their national security and financial interests. Ukraine isn't part of NATO, and Russia wants to keep it that way. If they make a move on any other country, then we put boots on the ground.

There were problems, no doubt. But you don't find it the least bit curious that Russian speakers are fighting alongside their fellow Ukrainians against Russians?

Ukraine got stuck between two worlds, that's never a good place to be. But that doesn't change what I said.

Of course he won't get it all, that's silly. But this is the 4th time his tanks have rolled...

Ukraine isn't a threat. The possibility of a successful Western economy there would kill Putins attempt to portray the Russian way as a viable alternative. It's also true that dominating Europe means having Ukraine. He hasn't exactly been shy about his ambitions.

First you tell me their economy is a wreck, then you tell me they're a threat. Militaries are expensive, and they don't have the sort of military that could go on the offensive.

You can't have it both ways.
