Well, Zoolinksy's goal(s) is by default. Putin's goal has been stated a million times but the West "claims" not to believe him. So, taking it simply we might say:

1). Russian security (not Russian territory) on the Ukraine-Donbas frontier would be "mission accomplished" in the Kremlin but not in Kyev.
2). The end to the war without Donbas guarantees against "ethnic cleansing" at any frontier would be unacceptable to Moscow but (presumably) OK with Kyev.

The whole frenzy in the West (and apparently in Ukraine as well) is the winter hardship ahead for the Ukrainis. No one seems to see it as a particularly fearsome situation for the Russians. So, if Donbas is not yet secure then my bet is Putin will push forward and let Zoolinsky weep all the way to Washington in ice-packed mukluks.

Yes that was one of their stated goals. They've also declared 4 territories which they don't own all the territory on any of them. (lol) Russia's goals were also "the denazification of Ukraine" That includes the removal of the "nazi regime, Zelenski. Reinstating the previous administration". I don't think that's gonna happen.

Regardless. The current battle lines as they are now and as they have been this past year are basically the new lines of contention. We have a North Korea/South Korea situation.

 

That's why you won't have to rob now. Only instead of banks, yous robbed countries. Take an example from the Russians. They do everything according to the norms of morality, culture and humanity.
For example. Both the Russians and NATO were in Afghanistan.
The Russians built hospitals and schools. enterprises, power plants....etc.
NATO and the United States in Afghanistan only grew opium poppies and produced heroin. That's all.
Therefore, the Russians withdrew their troops with their heads held high, and Najibullah's regime lasted in Afghanistan for another three years.
The US and NATO fled Afghanistan in such a hurry that their attendants clung to the landing gear of the aircraft.
And today, the new Afghan authorities are doing everything to establish cooperation with the Russians.

 

We'll see how that turns out.

That's a given but I don't see Zoolinsky as a Nazi. He's been saddled with the Nazis as America's party favour and even if he were to remain in power (he won't) the CIA will phase him out and find another skirmish in which to employ their neo-Nazis.

I don't know. Operation TP Ajax destroyed Iran's Democratic government and after so many years the only ones capable of dislodging the US puppet dictator Shah was the Islamic Revolution. Has Iran ever found its way back to Democracy since then? Nope! That's probably because the Persians see Democracy as the weak link that allowed its own self-destruction by a force that itself claims to be the leader of the free and democratic world. We've also witnessed what "democracy" did to Irak. If that's how Democracy is represented ....... who wants it?

How will a similar situation affect Ukraine? I predict a whole lot of turmoil in Ukraine (not that it hasn't already been a huge turd all along) and maybe Russia will want to keep its distance. But then Washington cannot keep their noses out of it so it could be that there will be further friction over there with Ukraine keeping a lower profile ... and as long as Dombas is either free, or independent, or incorporated into the Russian Federation maybe Moscow won't give a crap what happens to Kyev. Anyway, Zoolinksy will be gone faster than the Shah of Iran and Idi Amin could pack their toothbrushes.
