Yes the state has the official monopoly of violence. But the violence is applied to give more power to establishment and establishment is the union of corporations and state.

If you abolish the state, the corporations will apply violence.

The difference is that we are right. And capitalist are interested in power, money gives power. If not for what do you want money? For power. With money you can buy almost everything, the "justice", the violence.

Think who is governing, what relations have all the governors. for whom do you think they work. The rulers of the states are the capitalists, the corporations, the banks. And the state respond to their interests. War of Iraq, is a good example of giving the results of that war to the corporations, like all the wars. All is in relation to the capital. Ignore that fact is pure ignorance.

Capitalism and state are the same thing, are all one. And both kills for gain power. The state serves to the capital. If not the state would be able to do different things, like serve to people, but only serves to the capital. We are at the dictatorship of the capital. Analyse it. Analyse all the movements, analyse what are the real interests of all the things, even analyse why the slavery was banned, there was not social reasons, only economic reasons.

I just used some money to get a pair of shoes - because my old ones were worn out. However, I'm not really feeling particularly powerful, just, or violent as a result. Maybe I should???

    Absurdum reductio. Nice :)

    Please, don't try stupid arguments.

Money gives you power. Without money you don't have any power. Power and money(accumulation) are corruption. Capitalism looks for accumulation of money to gain power, therefore corruption. It is not hard to understand.
