It seems to me what is a childrens book is whatever the author says is a childrens book, but even if we set that aside...Is it an appropriate adult book for a library in your world?

People used to be opposed to book banning because it never would have occurred to anyone that we would live to see a time that some people would be writing books geared to children that are literally pornography! History is fully taught in Florida schools including slavery and why and how it existed and was bannished and the history of the civil rights movement.
