Yo dude, what's your problem? I've been on many forums and PF is top of the line. As long as you obey the rules, everything goes. If you got an issue, report it. The mods here are hella chill. Libs and conservatives don't like seeing PF get smack talked.

 

I might have more sympathy for you if I could understand your posts in this thread. I thought I was fluent in English, but theses posts humble me. I have no idea what you're writing about other than the fact that you feel discriminated against for some reason that escapes me.

Are you saying that we vote to ban people here? If that's the case, why has no one ever asked me for my vote? Or, are yo writing about the forum where you used to post? I'm completely confused.

 

I didn't want to name the forum, but Discu$$ionist should give you a clue. Posters vote on alerts, no mods. And so, Stormfront, conservative cave and freepers, gather in the lobby, as you cant jury on a thread you have been to. So, they congregate in the lobby, waiting to get called for jury. Then, when a partisan alerts on a thread, all vote to hide post. So, a few of these and goodbye for three months.

The owner of the forum is also the owner of the DU.

The format is an experiment in having diversity, and jury admin. And he is hoping to sell the format, so no changes can be made.

Democratic forum moderation COULD be a great thing, but, the jurors have to take it as a sacred abligation, and vote blind, partisanshipwise.

 

Try being a right winger at DU or huffpo, no matter how nice you are you'll be lucky if you aren't perma banned in less than three days.
By the way a hide vote sounds as though it could be advantageous.

 

Discussionist too. I tried to enlist a confederate. Who would alert on my OP and say I am a Nazi really bad etc etc etc. Then, my OP would be immune from partisan attack further.

That's what's wrong with a pure democracy. Over time it becomes less and less about right and wrong and more about who can get the most votes.
