Concerned? Why paint it fallaciously? They are laughing their butts off along with us independents.

Oh and now she will NOT be gaveling in the convention as the scandal continues to create a disaster for them. And no we can judge the proceedings as they go along your specious statement notwithstanding.

Bernie tells his voters to elect Hillary Clinton to a mountain of boos.

His supporters aren't going to run to Hillary in great numbers.

I didn't say they were. They are either voting Jill, Gary, or staying home.

Bernie wasn't as popular to the people as Donald trump was. Sure Hillary was helped by the DNC but Hillary was still more popular than Bernie.

So, the argument is: "Sure, Bernie was cheated. But he would have lost anyway, so it's OK."

I would imagine that the manipulation of and collusion with the press by the DNC had some impact on Bernies popularity. After all, that's the entire reason why the DNC did it; to negatively impact Bernie's numbers.

Any way you look at it, every day democrats have been duped and swindled by their own party. The only ones who aren't angry about it are the ones who got what they wanted.

I am not sure what you attempted to write in your ungrammatical second sentence, but if I have interpreted it correctly, you are trying to assign to me an opinion that I have not expressed and do not hold. Certainly an intelligent observer will form judgements as the convention proceeds, modify them as the convention progresses, and reserve final judgement until the convention is over.

Well, of course one can also prejudge the convention as you have done, but that seems very unwise. The act of prejudging is called prejudice, and it is something that people should attempt to avoid.

Incidentally, the effect of the convention of public opinion will be determined by what people see on their TV screens during the prime time broadcast throughout the week and not by what happens behind the scenes. Anyone who pretends to know in advance what that effect will be will probably get it wrong. My advice to you is to calm down, turn on your TV in the evenings, and try to watch the proceedings with an open mind.

No one can make that claim and we will never know now will we. The Democrats were successful in not making this an election by the people but by the establishment Democrats and just hilarious how much they are they are whining to move on.

Also note that now it is not about why they should vote FOR Clinton but now they are left with a vote for anyone else is a vote for Trump, acknowledging that he CAN win and they are scared to death of losing now.

Well what is your difficulty perhaps I can help you. You were claiming we can't judge the convention until it is over. I respond to the negative.

"And no we can judge the proceedings as they go along your specious statement notwithstanding."

We're not writing essay's here to submit to the teacher you know.
My judgements are to real time events.

Yes what I have been noting but it will also be determined by what people read also.
Yeah like the Democrats did with the Republican convention....:roflol:

Are you denying the events that have been commented on have not occurred yet?

Once again you are reading something into my post that I did not write. You do that repeatedly! Are my posts THAT difficult for you to understand? Is that what causes you to write over and over that they say something that anyone who can read should know is not there?

The only backlash is from Bernie/Trump supporters. All candidates are self-serving to some degree. All candidates lie. What's more important than the minutiae of who is most honest or most "patriotic" (whatever the hell that means) is who can actually lead the country. How many successful CEOs are perfect human beings? Why we demand such purity out of elected officials is beyond me. They are running a country (i.e. company), not a church.

Evidently the convention would go smoothly as long as no one mentions Hillary.

Haha, them trying to control their crowd reminds me of being chastised at school by the teachers for being too loud. Good ol' days.

"They are ripping signs out of people’s hands and threatening no credentials tomorrow if we hold up signs,” one Sanders delegate allegedly said in a text

I gotta say as someone who started watching these conventions back in the 60's with my mother on the little black and white TV and reporters had these HUGE headsets to talk live from the floor that this is one of the most entertaining of them all. I really expected to give it short shriff but watch every minute as they try to struggle through this and the leaders melt down.

You said we are "prejudging" you don't prejudge current and past events, this thing has been a total disaster for them SO FAR and no discussing that SO FAR is not PREJUDGING anything. Perhaps you just do not want to discuss it at all, if so I'll stop wasting my time.

Have you been watching the Democratic Convention? WOW! What a contrast to ours (the Republican one). Last week I watched a gathering of third graders. This week I'm watching a real Convention run by people who know what they're doing and are giving great speeches! It's enough to make me change my party affiliation. Well, Trump had already halfway convinced me to do that.

To Bluenose: I'm not wasting your time. You're wasting it with those silly posts.

The democratic convention is beyond boring, zero substance, nothing but a bunch of old tired slogans, race and gender baiting.... Except when Sarah Silverman and Al Franken get booed by Sanders boys and Silverman calls them ridiculous. That's good entertainment :D
