    Sunday 4th August???

What anniversary of an American atrocity is it that they have to close these embassy's?

Why August 4th? or is it Obamas birthday or something?

Well, maybe there's no threat at all.... Maybe they've lost the plot again. You know they spend billions upon billions of desperately needed taxpayer dollars on this pointless spying infrastructure, and yet couldn't, even with explicit warnings, stop the marathon bombing, and they for some reason thought the Bolivian leader's plane had Snowden on it when it didn't, and the failure to secure their own consulate in a country they helped destabalize into chaos, in which multiple people were killed, despite urgent threats and pleas for security for months in advance, in the organized attack in Benghazi against the US consulate which they claim to have thought was a riot over a youtube video, and their accidentally repeating that story for a couple weeks after they knew it was false, these "intelligence" officials don't always hit the nail on the head. Maybe if we gave them loads more billions of taxpayer dollars they could be more consistent.

The last thing Obama administration wants is another Benghazi, so any threat now will be perceived as genuine.

I did not say they're wrong at all. I always prefer to err on the side of safety. They've should have done it in Benghazi.

Oh lol in the middle of a 'War Zone' you keep harping on about loosing 4 men, one in particular because he was high ranking as if anyone could tell the difference, the Libyans lost 8 in that attack, do you care? And the Libyans got your man out alive, odd he was dead later ? I wonder who really killed him, you or they? And why?

The embassy closings are tied to US intelligence about an al Qaeda plot against American diplomatic posts in Muslim countries and the Obama administration is taking the threat seriously to avoid a repeat of the Benghazi fiasco. US embassies and consulates are considered soft targets for terrorists and "more than the usual chatter" from terrorist groups could materialise into real attacks in August and it also coincides with the end of Ramadan.

Let me put it to you this way - An American installation which, for all intents and purposes is the United States itself, was attacked, and America's Ambassador was killed. See the difference in facts, when they're properly stated?

An aggressive attack, a declaration of War, on another sovereign nation aiming at and destroying their infrastructure including , the water supply in a desert Land. which, so as not to upset your citizens. so as to keep the wool pulled over their poor innocent eyes about the truth of any matter of so called US 'foreign policy', you, the USA, have renamed a No fly Zone. The place was in Chaos through NATOs ( NATO being 85% USA) doing and you expect that your people should be safe? P-el-eese. He was well paid because his job was dangerous and why should anyone whose Land you have just bombed the fu#ck out of feel they have no right to kill one of yours ? You/we had just killed uncounted ( because they are not worthy of count) innocents. Any violent death is sad but for Gods sake this one was in War which he was a part of the making of..

To be fair, no one would attack a British Embassy nowadays as it would make as much of a statement as attacking a kids lemonade stand. In fact, that same lemonade stand possibly possesses more military might than the UK!

And again you're mistaken. One would not have a highest ranking diplomat out and about in a country with which you warring, would they? No, we were not at state of war with Libya.

Your other statements are just as erroneous.

Bombing a country is not a State of War?

Or are you saying it wasn't you? Who was it then who had just bombed one City into dust and others almost into dust. Destroyed the Man made River so that there was no water in any Cities in temperatures way into the 100s? Who destroyed their infrastructure whose War Ships were off their coast?

Must of been them damned Belgiques agin !

The marathon bomber warnings were completely ignored, and he allowed a Benghazi attack on US soil! And the billions of desperately needed taxpayer dollars he signed off on for his global-surveillance criminal conspiracy, which allegedly thwarted 50 terrorist plots, none of which we have even the slightest detail about, didn't catch these guys, despite them being flagged as a terrorist threat.

In fact, it's the "perceived as genuine" threats that are usually fabricated nonsense. Like Assad using chemical weapons.. Apparently, he had conclusive, bulletproof evidence to prove that his "red-line" was crossed, a claim mirrored by the UK and a couple other EU nations, to which the UN investigators said they weren't told a single detail. They then reckoned it was the valiant and noble rebel terrorists that used chemical weapons, and suddenly, NO MORE mention of chemical weapons! Hmmm. So what happened to that rock solid evidence??!?? Like the Iraq invasion blunder, nobody really knows what our valid intelligence actually says or proves. He could say anything he wants, and everyone will believe it hook, line and sinker, so long as he plays the universal "intelligence confirms..." card to start it off.

"Our intelligence confirms that Genghis Khan will crawl out from his grave and invade California, using plasma weapons acquired from a previously unknown extraterrestrial race from the planet Jupiter.." and everyone will believe it... By now, we should demand Obama prove every statement before we buy it, considering he lies about absolutely everything under the sun.

Sorry if I went off on an off-topic tangent there.. I just got involved in a rant.. It happens from time to time. You can disregard if you like. : )

You could well be correct. But if the threat warning is fabricated, LOOK OUT! Something else is bound to happen during this weekend...

Actually, it's never been about whether the threats have been genuine or not, Dutch, and you already know this. It's about Obama, Clinton & Co. no longer having the political luxury of permitting American diplomatic personnel to get killed on account of their gross negligence, incompetence and cowardice.

Once the government warns everyone, then the threat ceases until another day...hopefully, or at least that's what they think!

I wonder if August 4 is an important date in the Islamic world? I checked up on 911 and found that Sept. 11 was the day the Polish troops defeated the Ottomans outside of Vienna. Had they not been defeated, they would have been able to advance into Germany, which at that time was weakened by the thirty year war. It was also on 911 that the Ottoman navy was forced to lift its siege of Malta and couldn't advance into Italy and Rome.

Since Islam was humiliated by not conquering Europe on 911, they would use that same date to restart their conquests and destroy the symbol of Western financial power. I have them all figured out you know? :oldman:
