I am a huge Peyton Manning fan.......he insists on having cerebral White WRs around him.....and has the clout to make that happen.......that's why Brandon Stokely was in Denver last year and Welker is there this year. Not even the most ardent Tebow fan would suggest that Tebow is a better option than the future HOFer.......but there should be a place for Tebow in a league that drafts DuhMarcus Russell first overall.....gives Aaron Brooks multi-year chances to start at QB.......and now will do the same for Geno Smiff....

Are you relying on stats or melanin content to make your decision?......who has been better over the last six years.....not going on melanin content and black jock-sniffing as the criteria?

Aaron Brooks threw for 3500 yards and 20 TDs plus for four straight years and never had a sub 50% completion percentage. In his worst year he was 100 times the QB that Tim Tebow is.

Don't worry. Manning will throw 7 TD passes per game, the Broncos will dominate, win the division and earn the number one seed. Records will be broken, expectations will be high, and Broncos fans will be excited. The news coverage in the sports world will be high on Manning and the Broncos and a Super Bowl victory will be a sure thing...until...the hopes are crushed and reality comes crashing in like a tidal wave and the Broncos go 0-1 in the playoffs.

    Sort of like last year.

No , I am going on who is the best receiver in the world . I don't use skin color as a basis , unlike you , so melanin content is to no concern . I would put welker in my top ten , but he has the luxury of playing for the two best qbs in the game ...before he had that luxury he didnt crack 700 yds ...

I am a Packer fan so it doesn't bother me. it would be nice to have something to raz the Bronco fans with again. Doesn't help that we both lost on the same night , but at least the Pack won one.

It was so funny how Elway thought getting Manning was the answer to get to the Super Bowl and they lost on a Manning pick and got no further in the playoffs than the prior year. In fact, although losing in the same round as the prior year, under Tebow they at least were 1-1 in the playoffs, while under Manning, 0-1.

I am a Packers fan as well. Were you as frustrated as I was with our defense last Sunday? I have been frustrated with them for a couple years now and they cut the only defensive back that can cover. I have been wanting them to fire Capers for a while. The guy can't adjust a defensive scheme during a game to save his life. It's why when we get picked apart, we continue to get picked apart through the whole game.

I know Tebow is stubborn and refuses to try any other position. However, could you imagine replacing, maybe, Hawk with Tebow? The kid is big, quick, physical, and loves to hit. Hawk is slowing down.

Yeah, because he went undrafted, was cut by his first team and was given limited playing time at WR......I'm quite sure if Calvin Johnson was given limited playing time due to the color of his skin he would have less than stellar numbers.......glad to see you at least put Welker in the top ten......two years ago you would be laughed off forums for even suggesting such heresy......

I was happy with the D-Line. Having Jolly back with his head screwed on right is going to a valuable addition. The guy was always a stud, but would go bonehead at times. The secondary is young. Hopefully Burnett can make it back this week and Heyward isn't far off. Luckily the offense can score with anyone in the league.

I'll bet you cringe everytime Jordy makes one of his amazing catches........you know......the kid who had to walk on at Kansas State as a safety.........LOL at what talented white athletes have to go through to get where they are due to the racism in sports.....

I love Jordles and also Randall Cobb who was actually a pretty talented QB before utilizing his talents and becoming a damn good reciever. You know what Tim Tebow should do?

the league doesnt care about race, they care about money....... it would never make sense to be a racist. Welker is a great receiver, but he has also played with legendary qb`s....I think this makes it harder to accurately judge him. I would like to see how he would have done with TEBOW throwing to him....

Yeah, the offense looked great, other than the first series and last series of the game. I didn't find Lacey too terribly impressive yet and he had one or two fumbles, but a couple of decent runs. Starks actually looked pretty good. Jordy Nelson is incredible! Cobb and Jones looked good as well. We won't miss Gary Jenkins, or whatever that guy's name is, who went to the Vikings. Rodgers is awesome and will just continue to improve.

We'll be alright this weekend against the Redskins. I watched their game and they still seem pretty rusty. RGIII and his receivers aren't in sync and Morris didn't have a good game. It's the home opener and the Packers should be pretty ramped up.

No, he meant Tebow, not Christian Ponder.

How many blacks have been undrafted free agents and led the league in receiving for six years?

Arian Foster was undrafted, as was James Harrision. Two pretty good players I would think. One is probably a HOFer.

If you're claiming somehow that Welker is a better receiver than Calvin Johnson, then you should probably stop talking.

You know absolutely nothing about football. Seriously.

Geno Smith is a legitimate prospect. Tim Tebow has proven he can't play quarterback in the NFL. Pro sports is a meritocracy. If you're honestly claiming racism, then you need to seriously rethink your position. The only color the NFL cares about is green.

Leave the sports to people who know what they're talking about.

Do you (*)(*)(*)(*)ing morons understand the notion of "small sample sizes" and that making a definitive judgement based on one game is stupid?

You whiny idiots KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL.

This thread is a stark reminder why this site is an absolute cesspool. The white-man's persecution complex is so pervasive here that the notion that Tim Tebow got cut because he's white is somehow accepted as fact by a not-insignificant amount of people.

You are all morons. I'm out. This site is garbage and so is the racist trash that inhabits it.

It is much more fun to prove them to be idiots over and over again than to leave.
