Giuliani wants to be part of the show.

Rudy Giuliani, who serves as Trump’s personal attorney, said Tuesday night that he would be willing to testify in a Senate impeachment trial for the president.

“I would testify,” Giuliani told reporters. He added that he could “do demonstrations” and that he’d “love to try the case.”

Giuliani is not expected to be a part of Trump’s defense team.

That is because Trump's fans, including you, are agreeing with my posts as I keep readers updated. It is difficult to argue with the truth. There is nothing for them to say.

Chief Justice John Roberts will preside over Trump's Senate impeachment trial. What is interesting is that two of them got into it in 2018. Of course, the nasty interchange was caused by Trump's stupidity. Challenging the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is never a good idea, but common sense has never deterred Trump.

The exchange started when Trump called a judge who had ruled against him “an Obama judge.” In response, the chief justice said the President had misunderstood the role of the federal courts in the constitutional system.

“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges,” Chief Justice Roberts said in a statement. “What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”

Trump took issue with the chief justice’s statement on Twitter. “Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country.”

Because of his chronic stupidity, Trump caused friction between the two and now Roberts will preside over his trial.

Trump's worst enemy is not Nancy Pelosi. Trump's worst enemy is Trump.

Yes, let us hope they look at what Trump has done and not what he says

How does having more people working at any times in our history, having the lowest unemployment for Blacks and Hispanics, in their history and having the highest stock market in our history and the biggest wage gains sense 2007 working for you? September 8 at 5:12 AM ·

    Record 157,878,000 Employed in August
“The number of people employed in the United States hit a record 157,878,000 in August, the 21st record set under President Donald Trump, according to the employment report released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics,” Susan Jones reports for CNS News.
“The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7 percent. For blacks, the unemployment rate dropped to a record low of 5.5 percent last month. And for Hispanics, the... Unemployment rate was 4.2 percent in August, which ties the record low set earlier this year.”

“It’s been a lost summer for the Washington Post,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham and Principal Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley write in the Washington Examiner. “Despite record-setting accomplishments in record-setting time, data shows the news coverage of Trump has been 92% negative. The most egregious and dangerous forms of this bias thrived this summer at media outlets like the Washington Post, which routinely masquerade opinion as news.”

A whopping 266,000 jobs was created in November, with 54,000 manufacturing jobs created. All the while Canada lost jobs. Economist are blown away and Biden predicting a recession.

Pay gains under Trump best since the Great Recession

Jan 31, 2018 · Pay gains during Trump's first year in office best since the Great Recession. The Employment Cost Index, a measure of salary and benefit costs, registered a 2.6 percent gain for the full year, tied for the best since 2007. That gives President Donald Trump the best wage gains since the Great Recession, easily topping any during former President Barack Obama's entire term.

Trump did nothing for the economy except threaten it with high tariffs (inflationary, loss of demand) and a savage trade war with China. That trade war has dragged on for 18 months. During all of 2018, the stock market treaded water. That continued into September 2019.

Want proof? The stock market is setting records now nearly every day. Consumer confidence is at an historic high. Why? Because Wall Street traders and American consumers believe that Trump's long trade war with China is coming to an end.

Wall Street largely ignores Trump. Trump is facing a Senate impeachment trial, probably in January. Evidence against him continues to pile up. The Dow had another record day today, gaining 330 points.

Wall Street doesn't care what happens to Trump.

Do you know who is responsible for the booming economy? It isn't Trump. It is the ingenuity and hard work of the American people.

Even as the Senate prepares for Trump’s trial following his impeachment by the House, the evidence against the President continues to pile up.

Just Security reported Thursday that Michael Duffey, a political appointee who oversees defense spending at the White House Office of Management and Budget, told the Pentagon Comptroller in an August 30 email that he had “clear direction from POTUS to continue to hold” vital military aid that was supposed to be sent to Ukraine. That statement was one of a number of redacted lines in 300 pages of emails the administration released last month to the Center for Public Integrity after a court order in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

This is direct evidence that Trump ordered the hold on the military aid to Ukraine, and Duffey is one the witnesses Schumer wants called in the Senate trial. The others are Mulvaney (director of the OMB), John Bolton (Trump's fired NSA), and Perry (Trump's ex SecTreas.).

Note: A lot of people involved in all this are "ex's." Bill Taylor, the ambassador to Ukraine, joins the ever-growing crowd.

The Hill writes, "Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) seized on newly released emails surrounding President Trump's decision to delay aid to Ukraine, arguing they underscored the need for witnesses and documents as part of an impeachment trial.

“The newly-revealed unredacted emails are a devastating blow to Senator McConnell’s push to have a trial without the documents and witnesses we’ve requested," Schumer said in a statement.

"These emails further expose the serious concerns raised by Trump administration officials about the propriety and legality of the president’s decision to cut off aid to Ukraine to benefit himself," he added."

McConnell is looking more silly by the day with his no witnesses approach. Of course, everyone trying to defend Trump is looking silly. It is what happens when a President invites foreign interference in our elections and describes it as being "perfect."

The Post reports, “Their turn is over,” McConnell said during a speech on the Senate floor. “They’ve done enough damage. It’s the Senate’s turn now to render sober judgment as the Framers envisioned. But we can’t hold a trial without the articles. The Senate’s own rules don’t provide for that. So for now, we are content to continue the ordinary business of the Senate while House Democrats continue to flounder. … If they ever muster the courage to stand behind their slapdash work product and transmit their articles to the Senate, it will then be time for the United States Senate to fulfill our founding purpose.”

McConnell said nothing about his position on witnesses, an issue which he has waffled.

Still another reason to remove Trump from office. His decision to destroy the Iranian nuclear agreement may lead to a disastrous war with Iran. Trump is a walking disaster whose decision making poses a national security risk.

Overlooked on economy? Rising paychecks for blue-collar workers are shrinking the wage gap

Monthly reports on the number of new jobs and the unemployment rate can drown out important trends like these two: After four decades of worsening, wage inequality has started shrinking. And in a twist, America’s blue-collar workers are playing the biggest role in driving that reversal.

This may come as a surprise, because education is classically seen as a ladder up the income scale. Despite blue-collar workers often lacking college degrees, their wages have been accelerating faster than those of their white-collar counterparts.

For example: In the past three years, white-collar workers, the sector that the Bureau of Labor Statistics classifies as “Management, Professional, and Related Occupations” and which encompasses 40% of the workforce, have seen their wages grow by nearly 7.5%. During the same period, all other workers, a group composed almost entirely of noncollege grads, have seen their paychecks grow by about 10 percent.

NBC reports, "John Bolton, the former national security adviser to President Donald Trump, said Monday he is willing to testify in the Senate impeachment trial if subpoenaed.

"In a statement posted Monday, Bolton wrote, "I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify."

"The decision marks a significant, and potentially dramatic, development in the impeachment process that House Democrats set in motion just two weeks after Bolton left the White House on contentious terms with the president. It’s also a reversal for Bolton, who previously said he would only testify before Congress if he is subpoenaed and a judge ordered him to defy the White House by appearing."

The noose is tightening, and this puts McConnell behind the eight ball. He doesn't want witnesses. The Republicans have said the impeachment evidence is secondhand and hearsay. Bolton has direct knowledge of what happened, and his opposition to Trump's scheme caused his firing.

You can't defend Trump so you try to derail the thread that concerns his impeachment. That is pretty pathetic, but Trump's fans are desperate. Now Trump's decision making could cost American lives. Still another reason to have him removed from office.

All good explanations for the behavior of rational people. Perhaps that's not reality in this situation.
Trumps fate in this impeachment may have already been decided years ago.
Remember this.... "Donald Trump controversially observed that he could shoot an individual on a widely trafficked New York City street and not "lose one voter." Published 24 January 2016 Kim LaCapria"
There's got to be a fourth reason. Whatever it is...Trump knew it long ago.

Trump is worse than a worthless President -- we've had our share of those. He is a dangerous President. Trump is a threat to our national security.

Only recently, Trump ordered a retreat from northeast Syria. Hundreds of our allies were killed, thousands more were forced to leave their homes, the move strengthened the hand of the murderous Bashar al-Assad, Turkey, and Russia, and Russian forces occupied American bases.

His destruction of the Iranian nuclear agreement caused Iran to retaliate, and Trump ordered the killing of the second most powerful man in Iran which will result in further attacks by Iranian proxy forces throughout the Middle East. Trump seems bent on starting a disastrous Middle East war with Iran that will make the Iraq War look like a walk in the park.

Trump considers himself to be an imperial President, answering to no one. He feels that he does not have to answer to Congress, the American people, and he is scared to death of the White House press corps. He does not hold solo press conferences, and his press secretary does not hold press conferences, either.

Instead, Trump appears on the Rush Limbaugh show or "Fox and Friends" where no one will ask embarrassing questions.

So, Trump is not only a dangerous President, he is a cowardly one who refuses to answer for his behavior. For this, he must be removed from power. We live in America. We have no use for an emperor.

Trump will remain your President until at least January 2021, and there's nothing you can do about it.
