The earlier you can get to children with your moral standards the easier it will be to shift the morals of society. With parents becoming less involved with their children's education this process has a greater chance of success. My kid's in his 30s now so I could care less one way or the other but I do care when people use issues like this to make up nasty and unfounded claims about whole groups of people based on nothing other than the way they look.

Like it or not, you did that on here when you levied the claim that drag queens get a sexual frisson out of wearing women's clothes and that they "liked to be around children (para)" when so aroused. That's a horrible thing to say about people especially when it is not true.

Trans people have existed for quite a while throughout virtually all civilizations, it is just becoming more prevalent in the west. I know a few trans people of various ages and while it is definitely easier for the younger generations several of them were not accepted by their parents. The only ones I know that were kicked out of their homes were older ones so hopefully it is a dying trend.

I agree it is “much ado about nothing” but likely from the opposite end — trans people should be accepted as who they are and treated equally.

 

Yes, any adult that wants to change sex is free to do so in my view.

But I strongly object to what has been happening in that regard with young people, minors. Vanderbilt and Boston Children's Hospital and others have blood on their hands.

From what I have read most of these sites are very heavily monitored to prevent sexual activity or instances of predation.

I fully support spaces be available to at risk populations where they can receive support or counseling, especially if their household is what is placing them at risk.

 

Households are putting them 'at risk' for what?
