    Wrong ...

Law is of course valid for them too, but you are on the total wrong track that law forbids a private school to make rules like "for boys only" / "for girls only" ... including to wear a school uniform! Sorry, THEY ARE ALLOWED and those who want to join this PRIVATE SCHOOL have to follow the rules, otherwise they can search another school for their child - point!

Man, what is so difficult to understand crystal clear law and that Private Schools are allowed to do so and those who want to go on this Private School have simply to follow the rules?

"Accommodation" isn't equality and usually involves INEQUALITY by design. SPECIAL treatment for those who are so special.

    So I am right.

Rather an extreme far reach to just claim a school can demand what name a child has, against the wishes of the child and parents.

    O dear ...
Are the private schools allowed to demand school uniforms to wear? Yes they are by law allowed to do so and they are by same law allowed or kick of kids who are not willing to follow this rule or other rules!
Are schools allowed to be "boys only" or "girls only"? Yes they are allowed to be so and no law and § in any country forbids this!

Is there a birth register existing which is basic for all registrations in the country for this kid as for everyone? Yes it is and was the name of the kid there changed? No, but the parents only told "from today on my kid has another name and thinks to be a girl"!
No law on this planet earth give the parents the right to demand this from the school, because the name change is illegal and if it is a boys only school, then go off to a girls only school!

So no, you are 110% wrong! Point!

I seriously doubt it is a school policy that they get to say what the child's name is, and not the parents and the child.

This lawsuit is under the Unruh Civil Rights act public accommodation laws. The fact that it is a private school is irrelevant.

I believe the father is Iranian. Saw a documentary on sex change in Iran. They have the highest rate in the world. In Iran a homosexual can be hanged while a male to female reassignment is supported by the government and laws.

Seems crazy already, but CA says "Hold My Beer!"

California Bill: 1 Year in Jail for Using Wrong Transgender Pronoun

"A new bill being considered by the California State Senate would punish people who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” in a public health, retirement or housing institution."

Again, it's on the birth certificate the parents gave the school when he enrolled.
Source me where this private school has to indulge them their fantasy and play along with their delusions.
