Anything could be potentially intimidating, so you could make the argument that therefore people don't have any rights at all. I could say that you protesting in public is intimidating to me, the government, and therefore such protesting is not your right and should be banned. Sorry, but you don't have a right to not be intimidated if the intimidation is not one of the use of violence or aggression. If you are intimidated because people are different, tough. You have the right to get out.
"Miss Tiffany becomes a monk " Here's an interesting story out of Thailand. Sorrawee Jazz Nattee, the winner of the transsexual Miss Tiffany Universe 2009 contest, has become a Buddhist monk. "Jazz had had breast implants, he never underwent transgender surgery. Removal of the implants have returned him to his original male gender " . http://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/easier-stuff/349892/miss-tiffany-becomes-a-monk
I don't have a problem with it. I'm disappointed by some pro gay and/or pro equality for men/women groups that are bigoted when it comes to transgender. I don't think they'll be two far behind gays as far as rights go, but I do find it ridiculous that they aren't treated equally by all pro gay people/groups and classical feminists. False. What exactly is your rational reason for being afraid of them?
Yes I saw that pic - however if you look closely at the face the bone structure looks more male than female. This why the process is unnatural, it's just 'cosemetic'. Even if Michael Jackson had made himself look like a halfway convincing white man, that wouldn't make him "Caucasian".
Some natural-born women have a "more male" face structure. Honestly, I would never have guessed Nong Poy was born male. I don't think you would have either--you are just trying to find something that would make Nong Poy look less like a woman to reassure yourself.
Cheekbones are very masculine structure. Men and women have different bone structures, so really all 'sex change surgeries' do is give a cosmetic change and an artificial genitalia. The chromosomes and other physical features like bone structure are still the birth sex. I don't consider it anything more than an extreme form of self-mutilation, and I believe 99% of people 'diagnosed' as transgender don't fit any real medical criteria for the procedure. If someone's determined enough they can just doctor shop till they find someone who'll just give them the go-ahead for the surgery as long as they front the cash. And yes I'd still feel 'gay' if I were to sleep with "Nong Poy". I'd honestly rather sleep with Rachael Maddow.
Weird, how did my image get changed? I posted the picture in this link, but it comes up as a different picture than the original URL. This is what I was trying to post:
And where do you get that feeling from? It's not insecurity from the self, but insecurity from what other people believe. That's the issue, and has always been the issue.
What feeling? As long as nobody using violence or aggression, or threatening it, what exactly should be illegal? If someone is intimidated by a transgendered woman, and all that woman is doing is walking around, they don't have any right to make her change. Likewise, if the transgendered woman is intimidated by people staring at her, she doesn't have a right to force people not to stare through some law. Its unfortunate that people stare, but you can't making staring illegal.
I've been with enough women to tell the difference. And I feel a stronger stirring of the loins looking at Rachael Maddow than I do looking at Mr. Nong Poy - no joke either.
Oooohh! Should we do a test? Post a bunch of pictures of both natural born women and male to female transsexuals and see if you can pick out the natural born ones? I saw this done on Maury once...or maybe it was Jerry Springer? Either way it was funny to see the reactions. lol!
You mean like this one http://cavemancircus.com/2010/02/11/test-your-power-of-deduction-man-or-woman/
Yeah but I want to see one with non-Asians. I find that both men and women from Asian countries tend to have naturally round faces and so the physical transition is easier for them. I want to see more European/Western male to females and see some really good ones.
I was wondering why they all looked kind of like guys - maybe if they'd put some up against actual women it'd be a fairer test.
