Actually it hasn't ben "specious", just facts. The Defense has challenged EVERY bit of evidence that's been submitted by the prosecution.

Clue: It is the prosecutions duty to convince the jury of tRaitor tRumps quilt; and, so far, they've done a great job. More than can be said for the defense.

Judge Finds Trump Violated Gag Order Again, Threatens Jail (msn.com)
Don't be surprised if Trump gets a stay in jail. The judge warned Trump over and over again not to violate the gag order and the Judge fined Trump $1,000 every time he violated it, and we know it. I won't be surprised if he violates it again and if he does, he goes to jail and that's it. Trump won't learn anything from this. He doesn't think anyone has any authority over him. Trump still thinks he above the law and above all the rest. I still think Trump is crazy. Trump will go to jail I may be right I may be wrong. We'll see what happens.

Trump is asking for it. He'll get it. and don't be surprised if it were to happen.

Whiny old Trump's contempt for the American justice system rivals his loathing for the will of the people as expressed in certified democratic elections.

Consigning his big flabby arse to the slammer would only make his worshipers squeal a lot as the skank shifted to martyrdom overdrive.

I normally would eschew it as a form of discipline, but if the Loser persists in his tantrums, the court bailiff should be assigned, on each and every occasion of his mewling incontinence, to give him a forceful rap on the nose with a rolled-up copy of the National Inquirer.

"I find you in criminal contempt for the 10th time."

Days after finding Donald Trump in contempt of court and fining him $9,000, Judge Juan Merchan once again ruled that the former president has violated his court-imposed gag order. He fined him an additional $1,000 and once again warned him that continued violations will result in jail time.
"It appears that the $1,000 fines are not serving as a deterrent," Merchan told the former president on Monday. "The last thing I want to do is to put you in jail. You are the former president of the United States, and possibly the next president as well. There are many reasons why incarceration is truly a last resort for you."

"So as much as I do not want to propose a jail sanction," Merchan warned. "That I will, if necessary."

You get it? Trump will be going to jail if he doesn't behave himself. He's to mind his P's and Q's or else.

Merchan has the patience of a saint. Anyone else would already be in jail. I honestly think Trump will still get a "one more time" warning the next time he violates the law here.

Really, did you read Hope Hicks testimony ? I bet you didnt !

Now their on to his assistant Madeleine Westerhout ?

They both eviscerated him by testifying to what they actually saw and did.

Hope Hicks testimony alone showed that he knew about the payments, and that HE directed others to reclassify them from the campaigns finances. This one alone should have the Jury finding him guilty

Except for the "1st Amendment" part, I agree. Toss his stupid orange ass in jail.

They are still claiming that gag orders are unconstitutional. Why do you think that gag orders are unconstitutional, @popscott , and why have the courts disagreed with you on this for (generously) decades?

There is no "natural right" to be immune from all gag orders. Trump is not god, no matter how much that idea excites you.

Didn't Trump appeal the gag order and lose? Or was that a different case? Too many criminal trials to keep track of!

He’ll really pose when he’s fitted with his orange jumpsuit. He’s probably already posing in the mirror practicing his fake scowl.

The opposition party throwing a former president and now candidate in jail would travel the globe in milliseconds just because he refuses a gag order. Trump has every right to defend himself when he is being attacked. Even CNN’s Jake Tapper is seeing the absurdity in the gag order.

God signed the gag order... errrr.... I mean Merchan... denying Trump his 1st amendment to free speech...
""Judge Merchan to Donald Trump: “Defendant is hereby put on notice that if appropriate and warranted, future violations of its lawful orders will be punishable by incarceration.”

I just hope what the judge said to Trump, hopefully it gets through to Trump.
I wish Judge Merchan says to Trump to mind his P's and Q's.
