    From the article:
    • President Trump tweeted Tuesday morning that he did relay information to Russian officials last week, because he wanted Russia to step up and help more in the fight against ISIS
    • He also blasted his fired former FBI Director James Comey for not sniffing out leakers in the intelligence community
    • The tweets contradict National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster, who was sent out by he White House to publicly deny the Post's report Monday night
    • The Washington Post reported that President Trump shared highly classified information with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov during an Oval Office meeting last week
    • The paper reported that the information came from a U.S. ally through an intelligence-sharing network and pertained to ISIS plot to down airplanes using laptop computers
    • Trump 'revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies'

What information did he give them? All I see is general facts about terrorism and flight safety.

Is that because you are basing your sight solely on the statements from President Trump and his top associates?

The fluidity of the talking points is rather remarkable. It started off as fake news due to it coming from unnamed sources. Then it moved to false information because it was supposedly contradicted by top White House officials. And now it has moved to dismissal because Trump has the legal right to do such.

Do you understand how many countries we share information, intelligence, and security SI information with?

Seeing as though you were in the military, surely you didn't mean to create such a ridiculous thread.

I know. So typical of the scandals coming out of this regime - they cannot get the lies straight - look at Comey's firing - the flunkies are sent out with stories of why Comey was fired - different stories, but definitely not because of the Russian investigation - then the so-called president admits in an interview that yes, it was because of the Russian investigation.

This is just another left wing melt down. Trump is easing relations with the world, and the liberals are getting their feelings hurt.

Well, his tweets didn't say he shared classified information - just "information". We can surmise, given everything that has happened, that it was classified information, but it is not an admission that he revealed classified information.

Yes - and this information was so sensitive that it was apparently not even shared with allies.

How THE F#$% would I know? If there is a taping system in the White House, now is the time for the Senate to listen to it.

That's the issue. We agreed NOT to share intelligence from this ally and it wasn't about laptops. That came out March 31.

The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.

The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency.

“This is code-word information,” said a U.S. official familiar with the matter, using terminology that refers to one of the highest classification levels used by American spy agencies. Trump “revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies.”

So then your entire OP is speculation?

All you know is information. Named sources are awesome. Unnamed not so much.

What you have is information related to terrorism and flight safety for humanitarian reasons.

Trump shares information about ISIS (global enemy), and you are WHINING.

What national security information did Trump discuss. Tell us. You can't make these accusations without PROOF. For all you know, he said "He Russia. You have ISIS in this town, in this part of your country".

You are WHINING for no reason. Prove it

Why do you think that sharing classified information with the Russians in such a reckless manner will ease relations with the rest of the world?

There, most likely, isn't a taping system in the WH.

Trump was just spewing BS (based on watching too many Inspector Gadget reruns).

Besides, in Trump's tweet he put "tapes" in quotes.

That way, when he is called out on his BS he can say, "I didn't mean "tapes", it was in quotes".

    Trump's imbecility is comical.

Obviously information is shared with forethought as to the possible recpercussions of sharing it. It would appear that Trump shared this information without such forethought. That's not hard to understand is it?

What information? What if Trump says "Hey Russia, our sat signals picked up ISIS in a remote part of your country. Better go kill them before they kill innocent people".

ISIS was the discussion and ISIS is a GLOBAL enemy.
