And again you make no distinction between immigrants (good for America) and Illegal Aliens (no good for America).

America did not host the largest migration of Illegal Aliens in human history. All immigrants were processed and yes, all undocumented aliens turned away.

Anyone in our jurisdiction entitled to due process. The laws say"indivduals" not "citizens" by your thinking anyone can murder an illegal immigrant with impunity, and I assure you, you cannot.

Actually you don't even need the judge, just an immigration official. Judges are only needed in asylum claims.

Don't confuse constitutionality with rights. All people physically in the U.S. are protected by the constitution - citizens and non citizens alike. People have no right to come to our country without the consent of the government. But if they do, they have constitutional protections while they are here. We are currently experiencing an unintended consequence of that fact.

The reason this is an uphill fight for common sense is that the democrat party has decided that the importation of what they view as future votes is more important than the welfare of citizens and legal aliens. It is societal corruption of the worst kind.

The information that the US was not settled by the largest migration of people in human history. I was always told that the number of immigrants entering the USA in the 19th century was around 25 million all told and that there were just about NO immigration restrictions, though we did try to screen out known criminals and those with communicable diseases.

Trump has gotten very good at attacking the rule of law and tricking his worshippers into calling it greater respect for the law.

And again, we're talking about different things; you're saying migrants, and I'm talking about Illegal Aliens. Just as soon as we gonna start talking about the same thing, we'll start understand each other.

Ah, then you haven't been tricked by Trump and you actually still support due process for asylum seekers. Good. Let's take this authoritarian maniac to task on it.

I voted for Trump, and I'm quite happy with the way he runs America. Asylum seekers due process? Yes. Illegal Aliens? No.

I argue that there shouldn't be any Illegal Aliens, they should all be migrants. Migrants built this country and they made us the most powerful and prosperous country there is, they could do so again. People are a resource, not a liability

Thomas Jefferson, no slouch at administrating these kinds of things. estimated that settling just that portion of NorthAm we owned in his day would take us a thousand years, we did that and more in less than a hundred. We have gone from being a unnoticed backwater where a handful of cities led a precipitous suzerainty over a howling wilderness to the 4th largest nation on the globe and undoubtedly the most advanced and pleasant place mankind has ever made to live in. We did that largely because we welcomed everyone and we should do that now.

Simple. If you “welcome” everyone, everyone will surely come. And bring his uncle, and grandma, and an a child, and all his other siblings. Now, by definition, today’s “Illegal Aliens” and by your grace, tomorrow’s welcomed migrants are uneducated, non-English speaking with no marketable, high paying skills day laborers, who will not be able to support their extended families and send remittances to Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua what have you. So, who’s gonna support them?

Why is everyone not from here uneducated, " by definition"?

Apply for asylum at the embassy on the other side of the border.

    Support Catch and Release.
Due process available at the embassy on the other side.

BTW I donated $7K to help a wrongfully deported friend.
It takes six months to get a hearing there.
Then processing. Then allowed back and held in county jail for disposition. 2 years.
It was ridiculous. I got him his mean, Jew lawyer and away from the Latino Legal :blahblah:
Amazingly the judge kept giving the "unprepared" Federals extensions, repeatedly,
while my friend remained in jail.

It took a mean, Jew lawyer to get him out. Thank you Archie Bunker.

Actually the migrants already have asylum in mexico

They are not entitled to upgrade to US asylum just because our welfare benefits are better

    My friend,

By definition, "migrant" means being uneducated. Most Illegal Aliens are uneducated. You disagree with that?

So, if you arrive from another country via a flight without a passport you are put on the next flight back. No trial. Same thing should happen for anyone trying to enter the country illegally.

No, not really. These entering our country illegally via our southern border are almost exclusively brown-skinned; therefore, turning them back without trial would be racist.

As we are using the term here "migrant" means "one who is part of a migration," and people who are part of a migration may or mayn't have skills so, yes, I disagree, Most people who are coming here are coming because they are looking for work here, and that implies there is work here for them to do, that is, they have skills we need.

"recent immigrants are more likely to have college degrees than native-born Americans and are more likely to have advanced degrees"

I'm not sure you can even get on a plane leaving your own country without a passport can you? Nor is what we are discussing about people caught walking over the border illegally, as all those people are being given due process already. Trump is talking about rounding up and deporting people already HERE.
