    No one is persecuting or prosecuting toddlers. They are subject to the laws that restrict entry into the US.

    But if they are not being given due process how do you know if they have a visa or not? Due process, as I understand it, can be as little as simply asking for one's id and/or doing whatever else is necessary to determine one's status. If he is saying we shouldn't give people due process then Trump is saying we should just throw all Mexican looking people in the wagons and head south, isn't he?

    There is nothing "great" about these actions. They are in opposition to the spirit and letter of the U.S. Constitution, and contrary to the ideals that America has stood for for decades. They make America look like any other of many tyrannical militant powers on the trash heap of history--a place I don't want us to be. I disagree with Trump, his policies on immigration, and every one who supports his Machiavellian rule. Also, I DO agree that holding these immigrants in detention and holding trials is a waste of both time and money, and ends up punishing them excessively for what our legal system refers to as "misdemeanors."

    Well then, congratulations, due process is being upheld and will continue to be. Just show your Visa to the ICE agent. He can read just as well as a judge can.
