On Obama's election in November 2008, Dow was close to 10,000 after which it collapsed and lost around 30% of its value, it did eventually recover and reached 18,000 which represents 80% growth in 8 years. On Trump's election day the market took off, it gained 40-45% in a little more than a year.

LOL, right, Walmart economy, stagnant wages, loss of millions of high paying middle class jobs to China and Mexico, mid-america towns devastated by outsourcing, depressed wages, illegals undercutting rates, struggling shrinking middle class, skyrocketing gap between the rich and the rest - the prosperity liberals celebrated. Gimme a break.

These graphs are misleading, AT BEST! Mr. Obatard had the benefit of starting his numbers at a much lower count then any president since the great depression! So starting from the basement the failure got credit for a small reset "To big to fail" but never really did anything but ride a come back created from the private sector and economy that simply can't crash!!

We are all going to buy and sell regardless of the tool we have in the white house!

Psssst . . . even leftist economists now agree that the national economy's boom is due to Trump having become president. Sorry that you party loyal leftists did not get the message from your leftist-allied Mainstream Media. That was remiss of them; but utterly predictable.

Indeed, that is exactly what happened; but these leftists are unaware of the stock market taking off with a roar after Trump got elected because -- gasp! -- for some weird reason their leftist-allied mainstream media was both in shock and in mourning and just never got around to mentioning it to them. Of course they wouldn't WANT to mention it and not only because doing so would indicate that the average investor had confidence in Trump but because it would have simultaneously pointed out to them that the average investor had evinced pretty much zero confidence in Obamanomics or his failed presidency.

Yep, and yet isn't it odd that the party loyal leftists touting these misleading charts while claiming that conservative can't or won't think ALL have conveniently forgotten to mention that "Obatard had the benefit of starting his numbers at a much lower count then any president since the great depression! So starting from the basement the failure got credit for a small reset "To big to fail" but never really did anything but ride a come back created from the private sector and economy that simply can't crash!!"

Gosh! It's almost as if NONE of these party loyalist leftists cheer leading for Barack Obama can or will . . . think.

And I see you offered as much verification for that generalization as you did the first one

Are you auditioning for a talk radio future, just saying anything you want without having to ever validate it?

Trump is a dirtbag who has done little to positively effect the economy.. on that we can all agree, but did you know Melanie is no longer living at the WH??

Read this for details (it's funny satire, so I cannot start a thread, but this thread has Trump and Obama in it)

    SNIP
After minutes of careful conjuring and professional assumptionizing, I unraveled the truth: The Deep State helped sneak Melania out of the White House through a tunnel and she is now living with Barack and Michelle Obama.

Nice the way you throw that fake Putin line into a valid quote.... that's the working definition of fake news.... Had never heard of this guy before today, but now I'm sorry he's leaving..... Here are his 6 common sense things about surviving the workplace..... how many of these do you think Trump follows?? (Answer: pick a number between -1 and 1)

    He's unbelievably terrible at 1, 2, 4 and 5... I'll give him some slack on 3 and 6....

    SNIP

I'll leave you kind people with a few quick workplace tips I'm convinced are crucial:

    1) Be kind. It's so much easier than being an ass, and it makes life better for everyone.

    2) Pause. Always pause. Before you say something. Before you hit "send" on an email. Before you leave a voicemail. Take a second or two to consider whether what you're about to say or send is smart, kind, helpful or properly thought out.

    3) Minimize meetings. Everyone hates them and they're rarely productive. Keep 'em short and keep 'em small.

    4) Trust your workers. Give them flexibility. Let them speak. You will be richly rewarded.

    5) Be honest. Don't sugarcoat things. Don't blow sunshine up people's … you know. Give praise when it's due, offer criticism when it's needed.

    6) Cut people some slack. We're all dealing with stuff. We all have bad days, or bad stretches of days. The more patience we can muster, the better we'll all be.

How much of the current business profits are directly attributable to their lower taxes and how much to real business growth??

For the billionth time, I'm not crediting Obama for the the recovery, so you can quit with the Obama baiting. It doesn't matter if Obama is responsible for the recovery . . . the recovery happened. That's the point. It happened, and the economy has been recovering at the same, steady rate for the past 8 years. The growth we are seeing now at that same rate. If Trump had done anything to take credit for here, it would involve the rate increasing. The trend line would be getting steeper. It isn't. Crediting Trump for today's economy is like crediting him for the sunrise. It was happening without him.

That last sentence of yours? That's the exact point I was making by posting the graph. So how is it misleading to say that the economy has been recovering at the same, steady rate and the man in the oval office doesn't seem to have anything to do with it?

Except the guy that posted the graph didn't claim it had anything to do with Obama and has repeatedly said he doesn't credit Obama for the recovery. That isn't what the chart says and that's not what it was posted for. The chart shows a trend that has existed for the past 8 years. Notice how it goes at about the same rate regardless of who was president? That's why it is mathematically illiterate to credit Trump for that growth.

yeah, there's like 400 articles from 2008 to 2016 stating 1.5% growth is the new norm, but I'm not certain the media would tote water for Trump's performance like that if it were that abysmal.

That "joke" helped prevent the US sliding into a Depression, you didn't really think the Trump economy that began under Obama eight years ago was started by private investments in the economy did you?
