Businesses were already fleeing the state. We already knew that Dems were the party for the rich.

    There is hope.

Trump's name has become so toxic in the Big Apple that his condos were selling for 23% below market price.

I'm convinced that once the courts have seized his assets, those who own condos in his towers won't be able to hide their jubilation.

Are you claiming that Trump owned condos are 23% less to own that the comps? Lets have a link:

I'd first like to apologize for the fact that the drop was not 23% for every building Trump own, but 49% for the Trump Tower.... LOL

Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue has experienced a 49% drop in the average price per square foot of its condos since 2013, according to Ondel Hylton, senior director of content and research at CityRealty, per The Times.

CityRealty's analysis of the price per square foot of condominiums in the seven Manhattan buildings still carrying the Trump name revealed a 23% drop between 2013 and 2023, The Times reported.

Yeah, obviously he did. Despite that though, these civil penalties don't match the offense and I feel they would definitively activate the 6th amendment(against cruel and unusual punishments) were they criminal trials.

Seeing what's happened in the NY CivIl cases makes criminal justice reform a necessity. We need to now tie Civil Courts with federal regulations.

    Why reform only NY's?

The civil code in the entire country should be amended so that Trump (and his children) have total immunity until they die.

Only then would the MAGA feel that their guru is protected from the Soros- and reptilian-controlled American justice system.

I never said any of this. I said the fines were excessive and if it were a criminal trial, it'd trigger the Sixth Amendment of the Constitution.
I don't know what it is with left-leaning PF posters and not reading my posts, but it's getting annoying.

This is the third time Trump has been caught for fraud since 2018.

How many more do you need to consider him a fraudster?

Bankruptcy??? Well he has a history of what?? seven or so?? It was his fall back position.

His supporters still try to sugar coat his conduct. Minimize it, rationalize it, dismiss it. and keep contributing to pay his legal bills. Go figure.

AN, if the Statute Law says:

"You may appeal but if you do, you must pay $10.00 into Court," why should anyone even have the temerity to turn up at a Court and say "It will hurt me if I have to pay that $10.00. Please therefore excuse me," let alone expect the Court to ignore Statute Law, the Law of the Land, no matter HOW HARSH you might think it is?

If that is the way it works over there, everyone sentenced to death according to Law, Statute Law, has the right to survive if they go to a Court and say, "Exclude me from the Law, because if you hang me, I'll die."

The problem is : Who TRUSTS Trump.? the international leaders are no fools. they have watched this Trump saga unfold. there is good reason NOT to trust Trump...no matter what he might "promise"

And IF he did something like that......he would be digging himself even deeper into abyss.

But then Warren Buffet is SMART....VERY smart. He would never end up in this kind of self inflicted situation. Plus he has ethics and integrity.

The collusion was very well documented. Stone was smart enough to make sure that most of it would be handled by cut outs. He left the campaign for that specific reason (they made it appear as though he’d been fired, but he never really left). He was the cut out the Julian Assange. Who was the cutout for the FSB).

The fact was that Bill Barr wasn’t going to indict anyone, regardless of what the Mueller Report said. Something he made clear by releasing an impossibly quickly penned and deliberately misleading summary, which was allowed to float around the media space for weeks, before the actual Report came out.

In what universe would it ever be all right for any US Presidential candidate to invite Russian intelligence operatives into his headquarters in the middle of a US Presidential election??????

It was a political hoax to win an election??????? Which one???? 2016?

    That was already over.

Trump lost in 2020 because of his epic mismanagement of the Covid crisis, and the dangerous superstitious rejection of medical expertise.

Of course, by then, he had already been caught using his office to blackmail a head of state into manufacturing a fake investigation of his presumed opponent’s son. (This, too, was a Russian product).

We may have to go back and recharge the skinhead phlanx, once they’re linked to operatives in Trump world, or the White House.

There would have been no insurrection without Donald Trump. Trump amped up the excitement in right wing world, and had them proved and ready.

Must isn't a surety bondsman. I believe part of the terms of the decision is that the Trump Org has to use its OWN assets. It can't just put a hat out for donations.

And I just heard that Musk is "distancing" himself from Trump. Mind you Musk can change with the wind.

Musk is not a media mogul either, but that did not stop him from spending $40 billion on twitter

musk is down about $25 billion since buying twitter

think about it.............if trump would close truth social and go back to twitter ,

Musk may not recover his entire losses....but with trump back on twitter , it would gain traffic and value

$500K is peanuts compared to $25 billion

    Ya know...here's some facts.

Humpty*** says that Engoron incorrectly arrived at a value of Mar-A-Lago at between $M18 and $M27.6 (average $M17.5) and he*** goes on to say that Mar-a-Lago is worth 50-100 times (average 75 times) that.

So Humpty*** has claimed, in his*** recent Court filing of yesterday, that Mar-a-Lago (using those averages) is worth $B1.3.

Ha, so why the trouble getting a $M500 bond just using Mar-a-Lago alone?

The bloke*** is coming unstuck because of his*** own bullshit, just like all snake oil salesmen ultimately do.

Ya know....there ought be very close scrutiny if Humpty*** does come up with this money/bond as the Law requires, attached to any appeal.

This bloke*** is a candidate for POTUS and if he*** gets that support from a foreign entity (or even a US commercial entity on favourable terms) he*** is, for the duration, permanently in the pocket of that foreign entity or the USA one who did him*** a favour.

Come on USA, get fair dinkum on this one.

The Law is the Law and you don't get to go to Courts begging them to release you from the hangman's noose because you will die if it doesn't.
