    I realize that a lot of folks are very parochial, and have this silly notion that the only audience for the presser between Trump and Merkel was them.

    The world watched, not just you.

    What you saw was Trump doing it his way (oddly he shook the Japanese Prime Minister's hand so furiously that it got to be embarrassing).

    What the rest of the world saw was Trump, the petulant man child, sitting there like a middle school kid out of his depth in the principal's office.

    The German press hounded him on his made up claims (particularly the one about Obama's wiretaps) and wondered out loud why the most powerful man in the world continues to make a fool of himself in such a pointless manner.

    It falls to Angela Merkel to hold the Western Alliance together, and honor the legacy of the Atlantic Charter.

    Trump may have a bust of Winston Churchill in his office, but he has made a point of repeatedly trashing his legacy.

    And the flat earth, xenophobes what to drive this country backwards to the days of isolationism as fast as they can.

    Thing is, we all know how that turns out.

    He is lazy, uneducated and uninformed. He also has no experience in public service of any type, and no experience in managing anything other than the family business he inherited. He is clearly in way over his head, and he has surrounded himself with crooks crackpots and psycophants.

    He is a small man, and it showed on his face yesterday afternoon.

    Poor orange man cannot catch a break. He even had to reach a pay out settlement to those people he ripped off at his bogus university just so he was able to continue with his campaign. What nerve those people had to expect compensation for being swindled.

    Making a "fool" of himself is for you to conclude however it is subjective believe it or not.

    Can you tske that point?. We've all met people that cannot communicate effectively or act oddly, that is how they are. Trump wasnt elected for his quirkiness, he was elected for not being a Hillary.
    Trump is liked by many because Americans are fed up with more of the norm. That being in huge debt and ither countries/nato not paying for the defense the USA provides.
    Just maybe Trump is cheesed off for that reason?

    Trump was elected to clean up the corruption. He's doing it. The corrupt supporters of corruption are going to squeal and holler. A natural reaction.

    Will he rely on the Goldman Sachs bankster Mnuchin who is now his Treasury Secretary to help him do that? Or maybe dumb dumb incompetent DeVos can explain how to buy one's way into the Trump's cabinet as Education Secretary.

    They are over the top corrupt and the worst possible choices for the jobs they were chosen for. I'd lay odds that you made no effort to actually know zero about either of them. You just toe the line because the swindler-in-chief and his alt right swamp chose them.
