    This guy is off the deep end. Even if they were using government controlled airwaves, to limit them would be a major attack on the first amendment. He really will use the office to attack political opponents. This should be concerning to all. I still think he should be on the ballot but I hope a third party will win. I know Biden will not win.

    It does matter because the odds are against it, and I seriously doubt the Mancha Naranja would even go for it because of how well he has milked the RNC. Third parties just can't compete financially as well as the standard two parties.

    Putting aside his ignorance about cable TV (after all, why expect him to understand the role of the FCC just because he nominated the chairman), he is telling us he will use the DoJ to go after the free press if they are critical of him. More importantly, he rightly believes that will go over well with The Following.

    Even if it were under the purview of the FCC, it is curious why he is not attacking Fox for the same things. Oh, wait, Fox is the official Trump propaganda outlet, so therefore, they are okay.

    He used them but free speech doesn’t mean government honesty or free speech so long as it’s right. It’s up to the free man to decide what’s viable or not through study. It’s like claiming Trump cares about the constitution. Many will say he’s the only one who cares. Yet he verbally attacked the constitution and he violated the second with a bump stock ban that ultimately was struck down as unconstitutional. I would argue he definitely gives no crap about it. Not saying joe does…

    You also realize in that post he wants to eliminate free speech to anyone and everyone who criticizes him, even if it is legitimate criticism. This guy has a proverbial glass jaw. He can dish, but he sure can't take it. As such, he is showing his true colors with his authoritarianism and hatred of our Constitution and our core institutions day in and day out with enablers, some on this forum, encouraging the guy more and more.

    What needs to happen is conservatives and GOP members need to do more, sit the guy down, and have a ******n intervention on the fellow, plus his two eldest sons. However, I am hoping that conservative lawyers will rise, instead of being on the fence, to stop Trump if he is reelected. A Judge by the name of Judge J. Michael Luttig has formed the Society for the Rule of Law Institute to keep the rule of law and the traditional norms within the US Constitution.
