He should be careful about his opinions regarding being found guilty in a criminal trial. It might make him more popular, but guilty could also land him in jail.

There has to be consequences for Trump somewhere down the line. Unless that might have happened for Trump already.

America might have made the mistake when they voted in Trump.

Yeah, we really bent over for that one. In "OUR" collective defense, the thought was "how bad could he be", "what could happen".

No one had ANY ****ING idea, just what one maniac with the powers of OUR Presidency could do or, how bad it could get. TRaitor tRump redefined "what could happen and how bad it could be".

The not too bright Hicks musta thought it was just one of her "little white lies" again when she told a whopper to the FBI. lol
    Enter Michael Cohen.

'Ex-Trump aide Hope Hicks expected to testify in former president's New York criminal trial'

'The former White House communications director met with prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney's office last year.'

    snips:

"Hicks told the Democratic-controlled House Judiciary Committee in 2019 that she was not involved with the hush money discussions, and she told the FBI that she did not "to the best of her recollection" become aware of Daniels' allegations until early November 2016."

One thing I think Trump should accept. Trump ought to accept the consequences for his actions.

Are you suggesting he is Satan? I would disagree. Sure, the Antichrist is an option but Satan himself? I think not.

Yes, the Democrats are now dealing in overkill. These stupid cases, and this might be the flimsiest one, are eroding public in themselves, not Trump.

The feds and the state didn’t see a case here, but the incompetent New York City DA, who has never seen a political prosecution he didn’t like, invented one.

He might well get his conviction. Juries in progressive states have become as political as the DAs they elect. The case might well be thrown out on appeal, but by then it wil be 2028. Unfortunately the justice system moves like a glacier, even when the case is frivolous.

Trump has posted the $175,000,000 bond and I know of that gag order mentioning family members of the judge and other folks. Trump better know that he can face consequences for violating any gag orders put on him. Trump is out to get what he wants, and he doesn't want anyone to get in his way. Trump is out to get his way and will step on some fingers to get it. Here is something from the Associated Press.

I said this before, and I'll say it again: Trump is going to have to accept the consequences for his actions and that's all I'm going to say on the matter for now.

So now Humpty*** was to disqualify the Judge because he has a politically active daughter. This will be booted as out of time (like the last bullshit motion was) and irrelevant.

The Robed Idiot With The Tweezed Eyebrows Declares: Trump Case ‘Federal Insurrection Matter’

Judge Tweezed Eyebrows is a partisan hack and a liar.

He refers to US vs Trump as 'Trump’s “Federal Insurrection Matter.”' And he doesn't do so just once, he does so throughout his ruling. This despite the fact that 'everyone who has followed the sundry legal proceedings against Trump knows, there is no federal insurrection matter.'

Judge Tweezed Eyebrows is a Liar.

'Trump has not been charged with insurrection. None of the over 1,350 people prosecuted to date has been charged with insurrection — which has been on the books as a federal crime since the Civil War era, and in its current form (§2383 of the penal code) since 1948. Trump has not been charged with any crime of violence; Smith has alleged two counts of obstruction, a count of fraud, and a civil-rights count, all premised on Trump’s legal theory that then-vice president Pence had the authority to invalidate state-certified electoral votes.'

The Bribed Joe 'Justice Department investigated Trump for nearly three years. If prosecutors could have made an insurrection case, they would have — they had no greater desire than to tie Trump actionably to the violence of the riot, and inflate that violence into a case of insurrection — on a par with the Civil War, or at least a 9/11-scale atrocity. In the end, they realized they didn’t even have an insurrection case against the actual rioters, and they lacked evidence that Trump was legally complicit in directing the riot. Unlike in politics, in court, you actually have to prove the things you allege.'

Judge Tweezed Eyebrows thinks he has a standard of accuracy in ruling no greater than a lying fake news reporter.

'As a legal matter, what Merchan repeatedly describes as the “Federal Insurrection Matter” is a fiction. Where it is all too real, though, is in the realm of partisan Democratic political rhetoric. It has been since the riot. It still is today. Here’s a tweet just last night from President Biden — to whom Judge Merchan made a small-dollar contribution in the race against Trump in 2020, and for whom Merchan’s daughter, a Democratic political operative, has done campaign work: "Don’t tell me you support law enforcement if you can’t condemn what happened on January 6. You can’t be pro-law enforcement and pro-insurrection."

'This is partisan political rhetoric. It’s totally fair game for a presidential candidate to use it against his opponent. Politics is an arena of hyperbole, and Trump gives harder than he gets. But for a trial judge to peddle partisan political rhetoric he knows to be untrue, in a case in which there have been calls for his recusal and the evidence of his political bias continues to mount, is just breathtaking. It calls into question not just Judge Merchan’s impartiality but his judgment."

He's a liar and he has no business handling this case.

Please read the whole thing and discuss.

'New York appeals court rejects Donald Trump's third request to delay April 15 hush money trial'

    Source: ABC News/AP

    April 10, 2024, 3:24 PM

NEW YORK -- For the third straight day, a New York appeals court has rejected an attempt by Donald Trump’s lawyers to delay the former president’s hush money criminal trial.

Trump’s lawyers had argued that the trial should be put off indefinitely while they fight to remove the judge, Juan M. Merchan, and challenge several of his rulings.

Justice Ellen Gesmer’s ruling is another loss for Trump, who has tried repeatedly to get the trial postponed. The decision means the first of Trump’s four criminal trials will start as scheduled on April 15.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he falsified business records to hide the true nature of payments made in connection with a scheme to suppress damaging stories about him during his 2016 presidential campaign.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE.

I have to answer the questions and see if there's the possibility I would have been approved by both the prosecutor and defense.
    :roflol:

'Judge releases jury questionnaire for Trump's hush money trial'
'The form consists of 42 questions, including where potential jurors get their news, a week before jury selection gets underway in the New York criminal trial.'

'The form asks prospective jurors numerous questions, including:'

    snip:

      • What they read, watch and listen to in terms of media consumption, followed by a list of options to check, including The New York Times, the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, as well as CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Newsmax and social media platforms like Facebook, X, TikTok and Truth Social.

    • Whether they've read any of either Mark Pomerantz’s or Michael Cohen’s books about the alleged crimes and/or the investigation that led to the hush money case and whether what they have read or heard via audiobook “affects your ability to be a fair or impartial juror in this case”

He's skeeeeeeered, he knows what he's done. And, Cohen did not take the entire fall like Allen.

To be fair, if I had MAGA bank rolling my entire "lifestyle et al", I appeal everything to day trade a delay.

Trump is above the law, he already knows that, even if found guilty of anything, house arrest is the worst he would ever get

his lawyer though, was not above the law and did time

I haven't heard Keith Schiller's name mentioned as being a witness or possible witness.
He was Trump's bodyguard for almost 20 yrs and the described as the closest person to Trump.
He followed Trump to the WH but left in September 2017.

'Trump ex-bodyguard mentioned in alleged affair'

'Porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal both mention Trump's former longtime bodyguard Keith Schiller in their accounts of alleged affairs with Trump before he became president'. CNN's Brian Todd reports.

It's been reported that Hicks would be a witness for the prosecution along with David Pecker who got some kind of immunity.

    Schiller?

Apr 10, 2019 — Investigators reportedly asked the pair about their contacts with David Pecker, publisher of American Media Inc.

'Investigators also interviewed Keith Schiller, the president's former security chief and former longtime bodyguard, the Journal reported. Authorities reportedly "learned of calls" between Schiller and Pecker and "wanted to know if Mr. Schiller ever handed the phone to Trump." The Journal reported it could not determine what investigators learned from their interview with Schiller.'
