Having that jail cell nearby is reassuring. Trump's antics are tiresome / tedious and achieve nothing except get him media time. ( which just happens to be his game-stay in the forefront so people can't forget him even ,if they want to )

 

What a pitiful, self pitying cry baby. He does not have the personal strength and character to handle this with the dignity required of an ADULT.

 

Let me get this straight…..you worship the Orange Stain, and yet you criticise someone else for enhancing their appearance…..???

One of Trump's recent appeals that was rejected by Judge Merchan was for a trial delay due to the publicity in the news and he couldn't get a fair trial.
(paraphrasing) Merchan told him that 90% of the news about him and the trial are from him always talking about the trial and the media reporting what he said and to stop filing ridiculous appeals.

 

That's a "LAWSUIT"! These should be a real hit with the MAGA crowd. I think the Trump campaign should send one to every donor giving over $50, to help pay for his lawsuit.

 

It's a shame that the trial won't be televised.
Being able to listen to the jury selection for the Chauvin trial was an unforgettable experience.
Those potential jurors were required to fill out a pretty extensive questionnaire and were drilled on it by the defense and prosecution.
Will Trump be bloviating his shtick for the cameras before court this morning?

There could be issues/objections from either side when they don't want a juror for such and such reasons and the judge approves the juror but that's quite common when picking a jury.

The attorneys also may exclude a certain number of jurors without giving a reason.

Each attorney has the chance to object to jurors. There are two types of objections: "peremptory challenges" and "challenges for cause." If successful, these objections result in prospective jurors getting excused.

Dismissed for Cause
Generally, there is an unlimited number of challenges for cause. When an attorney challenges a juror for cause, there is most likely something in the juror's background that would prejudice them in the case and prevent them from being impartial. For instance, they know one of the parties in the case.

Dismissed for Peremptory Challenge

There are a limited number of peremptory challenges for each side. Attorneys do not need to give reasons for peremptory challenges.
