Trump could have done a lot to have prevented the disaster, mainly but insisting on Afghan government being part of the deal, but to do that would complicate the process, and Trump is always in a hurry, hates complexity, and since he wasn't going to be the guy who had to deal with the actual withdrawal, he didn't give a damn, that if Biden got his butt kicked, better for Trump, eh? Biden could have moved slower, but he was responding to the tremendous pressure from Americans to get the hell out of there, Americans were tired of the war in Afghanistan, there simply was no will to 'go slow'. But, of course, being honest about this thing is impossible for Republicans, because they sure as hell don't want to ruin their anti-Biden pro right wing narrative, eh?

I read exactly what Trump said it contains nothing about a firing squad. He, in so many words called her a chicken hawk. Further note the person in front of a firing squad isn't ever armed and they are usually blind folded so nothing about what he said even remotely resembles a firing squad.
