The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS)'s Press Secretary Tyler Q. Houlton has confirmed on his Twitter page a previous allegation by President Donald Trump that there are criminals in the migrant caravan moving from Honduras to the US southern border via Mexico.

As for Trump's claim that there are also an array of Middle Easterners in the caravan, DHS only noted that they and other nationalities often try to enter the US through its southern border.

When these people cross they will not have the ability to live in your neighborhood. They will need to be taken care of.

But instead of the people along the border dealing with the chaos, your neighborhood could chip in and step forward and build low income housing and food banks and these people of unknown backgrounds could be brought there.... Near your house. Of course your house value would drastically fall, crime and gangs might suddenly have a presence causing trouble for the kids in your neighborhood schools....but a small price to pay right?

In other words....it's not people in high income gated communities that have to deal with the problems caused by this flood.

You should do some research on the Center for Immigration Studies, who authored the report. They are an anti-immigration organization who put out deceitful reports with some regularity.

They ginned up imaginary stories about non existant armies of ISIS fighters infected with Ebola getting ready to invade the US from Mexico. Every far right winger on this forum fell for it and parroted these idiotic claims for weeks.

The day after the election, the story disappeared.

The coverage of this caravan will disappear.

The hysteria being whipped up by Trump and the right trash media suggesting that the US is about to be overthrown by an "army" of unamrmed refugees and women and children is blatant and adolescent fear mongering.

I don't believe for a minute that you didn't miss that point. It's exactly the button Trump is pushing/

In one breath the left talks about how they don't want the caravan to come in the country and in the next breath they condemn Trump for trying to stop it.

So. A simple question. Do you want everyone in the caravan to be allowed into the US? It is a really simple question. You should be able to answer with a simple yes or no.

The left is not talking about it, and the claims you are trying to attribute to the left come right out of the mouths of the same right wing media promoting this latest in a long line of right wing fever swamp fear campaigns.

 

They certainly won't be applying for asylum. No one in their right mind proudly waves the flag of the country that persecuted them enough to force them to flee.
