If only there was a way to have a special tax on LEFTISTS, since they are the ones that support massive welfare programs. This is quite simply a blatant, almost child-like, Election Day P.R. move to bolster members of his cult who think downtrodden dads, moms, and children from dirt poor Honduras are a threat. Trump has members of his cult thinking the danger is imminent. The caravan is still a 1,000 miles away. That is one hell of a walk.

It is readily apparent Trump thinks he is still a reality T.V. star, and he is putting on a show for his audience, his gullible base. They believe anything.

Trump has them believing that the caravan consists of MS-13 and Middle Eastern terrorists. Unfortunately, his cult was too busy watching re-runs of The Simpsons, and they didn't catch it when Trump was forced by reporters to admit, “There's no proof of anything" with respect to criminals and terrorists in the caravan.

The AP reports, "The Trump administration is planning to dispatch at least 800 active-duty troops to the southern border at the direction of a president who has sought to transform fears about immigration into electoral gains in the midterms as a caravan of thousands of migrants makes its way through Mexico."

The AP added, "The additional troops would provide logistical and other support to the Border Patrol, said the U.S. official."

More on that. The troops being sent by Trump will not be armed. The unarmed army will be basically a maintenance crew. They would assist the Border Patrol by providing things such as vehicles, tents and equipment. There already are about 2,000 National Guard members there under a previous Pentagon arrangement.

The AP said, "Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday that the Department of Homeland Security had asked the Department of Defense to "bolster" their capabilities with air support, vehicle barriers, engineering and other logistical assistance. National Guard troops can perform those same functions, so it was not immediately clear why active-duty forces were sought."

I believe I have already dealt with that issue.

To those of you that think we should not defend or close our borders to illegal immigration. How many immigrants do you think this country should take in? Is there a number or is it just whoever wants to come here? I dont think anyone has a problem with legal immigration and most agree that a certain number of immigrants are necessary as an economic point, but there is a limit to the number of uneducated immigrants that cannot care for themselves and will go on our welfare system.
We have American citizens and veterans that need assistance that they are not getting now, how will adding to the pressure help?

Those arguments died when blacks showed they could be a massive asset on the football (gridiron) field.

I think most Central Americans play soccer (football).

 

The schools in this country are now more segregated than they were in the 1950's. White parents don't want their children to be educated with blacks, for obvious reasons.

I am not sufficiently acquainted with military matters to comment on your claim.

 

I couldn't care less about either form of football.

 

The problem is not that they are men, women and children, the problem is that there are poor families all over the world, and the nation will become demonstrably worse if you tell them all to come.

I am not telling them to come. We have immigration laws, and they should be enforced.
