Trump trashed the parents of a dead US soldier. GOP leaders hid under their desks, hoping Trump would go away.
    *facepalm*

    Quote from link below:
Republican Donald Trump lashed out Saturday at two Muslim American parents who lost their son while he served in the U.S. military in Iraq and who appeared at the Democratic National Convention last week, stirring outrage among critics who said the episode proves that Trump lacks the compassion and temperament to be president.
    ....
the Republican nominee’s remarks drew strong rebukes Saturday — but only silence from several senior GOP leaders, including House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the vice-presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Seeing how this was a Clinton propaganda machine setup don't you find any disgust for Clinton using these parents?

BTW: What has Clinton sacrificed? Oh yeah, she had to duck and run from sniper fire. LOL

Trump is one of the most childish, vindictive men I have ever seen. Why couldn't he have just let it be?

"No more Mr. Nice Guy?" Are you kidding? Why doesn't he try something different and act presidential for a change. This election isn't about him.

Don't you find any digust for Trump for using that mother whose son died in Benghazi???
You see, the knife cuts both ways.

And BTW, Mr. Khan wrote his own speech and delivered, without teleprompter.

After the Clinton propaganda machine offered to write it.

Guess your answer is no, you support Clinton abusing people.

You do realize that this mans son was killed in Iraq, a war HRC openly advocated. Further, was killed by radical Islamists. The glaring difference between the sons death, and the US embassy deaths is that Trump is in no way culpable, but HRC clearly was. Trump using the Benghazi attack to illustrate Clintons incompotence is not the same as fabricating malicious inuendo. Benghazi aside, let's bring the Fort Hood soldiers exemplary service into focus. Is he not perhaps more representative of musim American soldiers?

Trump could have said: I am sorry for your loss and appreciate your son's service. He's not the brightest bulb.

It would be entertaining to watch Trump shove his foot into his mouth. However, what people really want to see his Hillary shoving her hoof into her mouth.

This is not the first time I've seen military service used as a blanket political wedge by Muslims.

Muslim countries do not allow non-Muslims in their militarys. Think about that for awhile before you blather on further about this.

Christians serve in the Egyptian army.. You may want to check the facts before you make such a blanket statement.

And since this election is not being held in those Muslim countries, your point is?

I think it's a mistake by both parties to have parents of the fallen packaged onto the stage.

That said, they aren't running for office, so the only important part is the reaction of the candidates to said speeches - and Trump's
reaction is not the measured, well thought out response I would hope for from a person who might be in the White House. It shows a
petty, thin-skinned schoolyard response to problems - not an educated, mature response from a person who will have great power.

OK, put the word "many" before my statement. Bottom line, that is for a reason, and it is to dominate non-Muslims. People from those cultures are glad to accept our training in death for later use.

You mean like blaming Russia for the DNC email fiasco with no proof? That kind of measured response?

At least he's not rewarding sententious bs that has little relevance to core issues.

I'm pretty sure that would not hold true in Malaysia either. They have a freedom of religion clause in their Constitution though
    it is a Muslim state.

Trump, once again, knowingly appealing to the White Nationalist core of the Republican party. He's more afraid of offending them than appearing hateful and insensitive.

He'll get those votes but every time he speaks more and more of those outside that core gravitate toward Clinton.

    Well some do.

But in truth Hillary is not the best campaigner in the Dem party. It is a good bet that they will tailor her campaign more carefully than has been done in the past so as to avoid needless errors.

As for Trump. He will never learn. Why, even Texan Mark Cuban refused to endorse him - that says much.

I keep seeing stories that Trump "lashed out" or "attacked" this couple. What did he say? I missed it. Can't check the link because I guess I need to subscribe.

So again, how did he shove his foot in his mouth?

What I find offensive is the democrats having mother's of thugs who died while attacking the police and then claiming victimhood. Republicans have respect for the police. Democrats view the police as enemies, as racists. They hate America, they hate the flag. They had no flags at their convention until Donald Trump called them out. Then they over did it with so many flags they got called out for their fake patriotism.

"I was viciously attacked by Mr. Khan at the Democratic Convention. Am I not allowed to respond? Hillary voted for the Iraq war, not me!" ~ Trump

Khan uses the death of his son to make a political point but his death lies on Hillary's shoulders.

I guess her reply would be, "What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?"

    "They hate America ..." ?

Does a parent "hate" their child if they try to correct improper behavior?
