"While you are staying under the cover of denial, things are getting worse- and the eventual correction will take the form of violence instead of political reform if it is not resolved otherwise, and then you will really be scared."

That is a threat of violence if you don't get your way. And Trump's campaign is also threatening violence.

Do you not understand the difference between a prediction and a threat? Do you not understand that this does not have a direct link to Trump at all, but to the corruption that he and every thinking American objects to?

It's simply a question of how much crap you will tolerate without fair response before things breakdown. Maybe they never will- if we have enough sheep, they will just go to the slaughter house without protest, right?

Look to the men who built the nation:
Thomas Jefferson said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

That wasn't a threat, it was a statement of what he considered a fact of life and freedom.

Charles Kettering: "Knowledge and understanding are not the same thing- you can know a great deal and understand nothing."

That is an explanation of why we have so many self-appointed experts who are unable to comprehend what they read, nor apply it in an effective way. Clue shortage.

Let's assume for the sake of discussion that we found this quote among the writings of a man who had just shot up, oh say, a county elections office following Trump's impending demolition.

"While you are staying under the cover of denial, things are getting worse- and the eventual correction will take the form of violence instead of political reform if it is not resolved otherwise, and then you will really be scared."

    That seems like a threat.

I'm pretty sure if some Muslim had posted it while speaking of Sharia you'd swear it was a threat.

You are threatening violence if you don't get your way.
Donald Trump has called for violence if he doesn't get his.

Doesn't matter how many quotes you use to pretty up the threat. The threat is still a threat.

Meg Whitman, prominent Republican, said Trump is a 'threat to democracy' and she's supporting Clinton. fwiw

And Meg is right. I don't agree with whitman on much but she's a thinking Conservative. Trump on the other hand is Hitler without the engaging personality.

And talking sense to a person who has none or refuses to use it is a waste of time.

Try #294 then. It was #293 when I posted yesterday.

You were talking falsely when you claimed no refugees have committed terrorist acts since 2001; as you did in post #260:

Here is my reply in post #294:

For what reason would I not want to refute such a blatant falsehood as the one you are still trying to propagate?

Your link is a non-starter because it doesn't come up. Not-Found is all I get.

Clinton was intimately involved in the deaths of those Americans, her decisions AS Secretary of State had direct consequences on them and then she personally and officially lied to the families and then called the families liars.

What did Trump have to do with the death of the Kahn's son and when did he ever discuss it with them or lie to them about it?

Distinctions do make a difference you know.

agreed. Trump started out as an amusing and temporary issue, now he's very scary.

You don't need the link, because I quoted the gist of the article twice now, in #294 and now again in #335 (which covers it all). You just need to pull your head out of the sand and read them.

Or is seeing that you were wrong just too hard on your eyes?

This guy was paraded out at the DNC, and what did he do? Attack Trump in an underhanded way. My money says that this was a set-up to try and goad Trump into saying something, anything, that could then be spun into a media frenzy attack on him.

Naw. The more I listen to Trump speak, the less I feel he resembles Adolf. I'm more concerned about the Democrats' propaganda warfare capability. It's scary how they gather followers through narrative and deception.

Maybe you should watch some Hitler speeches, and watch Trump's acceptance speech at the RNC. You'll see how silly the comparison really is.

And it's our duty to expose you for what you are:

    She doesn't like racism either.

But can you be more specific next time? Specify "white racist". You don't have a problem with other types of racism.

You think I'm a 74 year old woman? You share more with Homer than an avatar.

BTW Dohrn is a person who repeatedly stood up for her beliefs and was arrested and harassed for doing so. i can almost hear the crying if the right-wing nutjobs were ever treated by the authorities the way Dohrn and her fellows were.

If you want to compare me to Dohrn then I say many thanks. It is an honor to be mentioned in such company.

Would Allen say the same to the mother of the Benghazi victim that is doing the same? I have my doubts.

Exactly. This would have been a one-day story if the Thin-Skinned One had been able to let it go by, but he just couldn't.

Fox has HRC with a 10-point lead, and part of that is American drawing back in horror at the appalling sight of a presidential candidate attacking gold star parents, not just once but day after day. People with even an ounce of human decency understand instinctively that you just don't do that. Combined with publicly inviting Russia to commit cyberespionage against the US, the horrifying lack of knowledge about Ukraine, attacks on fire marshalls and crying babies, musing about nuclear first-strikes -- well, the list just from the past week goes on and on -- the country is judging all of these things and more, and IMO coming to the obvious conclusion that this is a dangerously unbalanced person who must never ever have the powers of the presidency. If his goose wasn't already cooked, it is now.

CNN (Clinton News Network) has soooooooooo been dining out on this. I think they see it as the definitive moment: if they can't sink Trump with this, then how? And of course, as long as the ranting, angry Muslim is the father of a dead soldier, he can say anything he wants. Hence he gets to rant uninterrupted.

Of course, Trump is the author of his own destruction here. Does any of his team have any kind of sway with him? His children? The redneck vote just isn't big enough.
