    Great news, finally the great suffering of sunni- arabs in "Syria" can be soon over, my question : what dictator of Muscovy Vova Putin is gonna do? my guess just watch and do nothing against American jets , solders , the same go to Iran, what do you think?

    I'm going to go out on a limb and guess there will be a token response once Trump confers with President Putin on what action can be taken without a serious reprisal by Russia.

    I find it funny that people voted against Hillary because of her stance on a no-fly zone in Syria, and for Trump because he was going to be non-interventionist, but now this same crowd is praising Trump for changing his tune after 400,000+ deaths and numerous previous chemical attacks by the Assad government.

    Precisely! He has Haley and Tillerson come out and say that the people of Syria can decide for themselves what to do about Assad and then when Assad kills his people with gas, Trump can switch gears and look like a strong leader. Sounds like a Putinesque type plan to me.

    rocket attacks, no-fly zone, something.

    Trump is not a czar, and has a lot of pressure from both parties , "red line" etc. i am 100% sure , Assad will not get away with all this ...

    Trump already played the "Blame Obama" card, but that only works on the Reps. For Assad, Trump will have to deal with Putin, or spill US blood.

    Prediction: He fires a cruise missile or two, then claims victory. 30 days later, another gas attack.

    you know what does it mean ? Iran has only 20 000 or so fighters in Syria , Assadits are poor motivated militia which will fight only at home , in Latakia ...His line will collapse in 1 week

    You have no faith in Secretary of Defense Mattis? Mattis will be doing the attacking, Trump will just let him off the leash.

    The real question is if the US Military is even strong enough right now for a sustained operation.

    Well that describes me I guess. Hillary ran promising military conflict with Russia over Syria, and Trump said he would avoid it, so I'm worried by recent Trump's statements. There is nothing in Syria worth the life of a single US infantryman.
