Actually since the BELIEF that God does not exist is faith-based rather that something that science can prove, atheism is a religion.

That phrase didn't appear on the currency until 1957. Argument failed.

not my Christmas or Easter, maybe yours are.... not everyone's

they are also based on Pagan values, but I do not celebrate it as a Pagan holiday either

do you celebrate new years day or feast of the circumcision on jan 1st?

He wanted the job, and it was over by June 30, less than half of his first year.
    Bush averaged 2.1%

Under the Bush rate, it takes 33 years for the economy to double.
Under the Obama rate it takes 47 years for the economy to double. Hopefully, Trump beats both.
That's one of many of Obama's excuses for his dismal record, but he did better after the GOP took charge.

Hopefully Trump will compile a record that he feels no need to blame others for.
    Well, no.

Obama hit 2.9% in 2015 and only 1.5% in 2016, that's deterioration not slow improvement.
He's getting more done than you give him credit for, that is why we are seeing improvements in the rate of the debt rise, rising wages and growing employment. He deserves a fair shot. He brings an unique skill set to the office and he could be quite an upside surprise. Certainly we can agree it was time to try something different, I think the electorate made the right choice.
All the American people need to be great is for the government to get out of our way, we are naturally great, and it is our nature to do great things.
That's a fair assumption and I expect one.
    Down... then up.

The odds that the Fed is going to be able to exit their extraordinary measures without tipping over the apple-cart, I rate between zero and nill.

And when the recession comes, I felt far more comfortable with Trump at the helm than Felonious Von Pantsuit, and that was the decision of the Electorate.

Really? Go back in time and then stop in randomly in 1812, 1850, 1916, 1950 and proclaim in any town square in this nation that the United States of America is not a Christian nation and then see what happens to you before you hastily have to warp out again. Not a Christian nation . . . hahahahahaha!

no its not, many non-Christians celebrate Christmas, like Aspirin it's no longer just for Christians, it became a secular federal holiday

Christians stole it from Pagans, Americans stole it from Christians and reinvented it - Christmas has evolved

but don't worry, you can still BYOR (Bring Your Own Religion)

    ----

sometimes holidays can have more then one meaning even though they carry the same name sometimes, as a example

do you celebrate easter? or do you celebrate “Resurrection Sunday” or did the Pagan name stick and that is good enough for you even though your not Pegan?

"Where did “Easter” get its name? Where did the concept of an Easter egg and bunny originate?"

No, they are stolen pagan holidays. Most people don’t go to mass on Xmas or Easter. Most people have presents under their tree from “Santa”on Xmas and look for Easter eggs from the “Easter bunny”on Easter.

To a certain degree so, too, is Thanksgiving. First it was thanks to God for allowing them to live and prosper in the new nation and secondarily it was thanking their Native-American benefactors. Leftists have worked really, really hard to remove all aspects of that thanks to God from it.

I knew you would post that. Funny but I don't see 17 something on it. How could that be IF the Founding Fathers believed this was a Christian nation???? Because many of them wasn't Christians.

Atheism means the lack of belief in a deity. That is by definition not a religion.

I'm a complete Athiest and I love Christmas. I'll happily say Merry Christmas to anyone, I just don't care enough to make a fuss about it. I think these social-conservatives should stop seeing everything as a "War" and just take a Movantik or something:

If you knew I would post it why did you say 1957? Just to show your ignorance on the subject?

    Why..
