How can that kind of behavior be doing what is best for the population ..........by anyone's terms.??? When a POTUS agenda.......(whatever it might be) is more important thatn the population's HEALTH .......... that is a big problem. When a population believe a lying self centered politician over the medical experts............that too is a big problem.

 

This has been known for as long as we've had COVID.

It actually does say

1) relied on “herd immunity” strategy
2) Delay in organising for testing
3) blocked requests from the CDC for public briefings etc etc etc

 

MiaBleu, can you explain to me what part of Trump's actions during his one term in office and actions since leaving the WH gives you any kind of impression, however miniscule, that he has done *anything* for anybody but himself and/or his bank account?

and he set the tone by calling it a hoax. and other inflammatory names........ that made the population not take it as seriously as they should have from the onset.

Lest we forget how he mocked Dr. Faucci .......... which influenced his "followers" to do the same. and ignore the recommendations for containing the virus.

Again....... his supporters chose to take "medical advice" form their deluded politician...........instead of the medical staff who were trying to inform the public as accurately as they cold given the newness of this virus. (with information developing and changing as more knowledge as gained)

Well, Biden is doing a bang up job. With all of the latest medical knowledge, the pandemic continues to be out of control.

 

He can only do so much.......... as the rest is up to everyone to do what is necessary .: ie: get vaccinated and boosted and wear massks etc etc. If folks don't comply with Pandemic rules of conduct ...... they cannot blame the leaders.

He is setting the right example.......and trying to make sure that the necessary materials are available to everyone.


If you have better ideas as to how to h;handle a pandemic ...........let him know.

These people don't care. Last year, they stood behind Trump doing everything except leading by example and that exemption doesn't apply to Biden or any other non-deities.

Beyond that, every single person that looks to their elected officials (either side) for MEDICAL advice isn't likely to be big on critical thinking.

I find it amazing that the left can blame Trump for people not getting vaccinated or wearing masks and yet with Biden it is, "He can only do so much".

 

Trump was not blamed for what you say. He is blamed for calling it a HOAX.........and acting like it was insignificant. He refused to wear a mask.........for ( appurtenance reasons setting a very bad example.....He is blamed for childishly making fun of it giving it what he thought was a cute name. ( a prejudicial and inflammatory name)

He IS given credit for pushing the development of the vaccine.........and taking it .........and now announcing that he took the booster as well.

That sets a positive and responsible example. He knows he has the clout to influence his followers ......

Yea but we can't take seriously so called "scientists" like Fauci, that pushing useless vaccines on people. May be Trump knew that was a political plot against him.

Mixed information. inconsistent messaging ...... resistance to advice ........etc etc. How sad that politics contaminated a PUBLIC HEALTH situation so badly.
