Why you all insist on being his historical revisionists?

Trump said it was a hoax.
Trump downplayed it and admitted he liked downplaying it.
Trump blurted out misleading and dangerous statements leading to a barrage of poison control calls and hospitalizations.
Trump backed down from Pelosi's ranting and raving instead of holding steadfast to his decision to stop international travel.
Trump delayed the Stimulus checks because he wanted his name on them (completely tone deaf to people without billions).
Trump held several close-knit and overcrowded rallies (with indemnifications required).
Trump forced his own staff members to not wear masks in his presence.
Trump told an Axios interviewer that he "takes no responsibility at all."
He knew he was COVID positive before he went to that debate and still refused to wear a mask (as did his entire staff present).
Trump told George (I can't think of his last name right now) the vaccine isn't needed and the virus will go away without it.
Trump put as many road blocks as he could to not allow Biden's team a smooth transition.

And, you're going to write a million and one rationalizations for his egregious behavior. Don't bother. All of you are <censoring myself>.

Indeed. Bush had his limitations...........but there was something likable about him. He had a sense of humor ......and that counts f or a lot. Even the Dalai Lama enjoyed his iterations with him. Trump is too angry , vengeful, negative, self centered and selfish to be an effective leader .

Excellent summary..!!!!..... and when one reviews that period ...... it is so clear that the whole thing was mismanaged.........and deliberately so......(for political and personal motives)

And, the kicker is he doesn't even care about his supporters (look how much he is doing for the ones that got arrested and convicted over the Capitol riot. Spoiler alert: Nothing), he stiffed Giuliani and Powell and he's fired anybody that won't play along with his delusions of conspiracies.

How anybody can defend him is beyond my comprehension. I have never been ashamed of my fellow Americans but I am now. I honestly wish I could unknow this about the people that claim to love their country. A two-bit worthless POS that has no redeemable qualities lies to their faces every chance he can and they look up to him. Ugh.

    Not quite:

Trump not an effective leader. Nor is he an effective "boss" Both Dems and REps have good points and bad ones.

To align oneself with one person ......is counter to any Democracy.

Trump has never been a leader. His father left him a bunch of money so he has never had to work for anybody else. He has never had to negotiate (as he made all the rules) and he's never had to know what it's like to be 2-3 paychecks away from homelessness.

He's a bully. That's not leadership. And you can't convince me that his supporters would stand behind anyone else and excuse his very public nervous breakdown. I don't blame him. If people are willing to go to prison for him and send him their rent money, why shouldn't he exploit them? That's what he does. Everything he does is con man's long game.

You are right!!! Why shouldn't he exploit them??? If they can't see what he is and what he is doing...........and believe that their "loyalty " will be rewarded.............so be it.

That part really stumps me, MiaBleu. I was beyond shocked when it was said that he verbally abused Pence because he stood behind his oath of office versus capitulating to Trump's demands to not do his sworn duty. Like it or not, he could not have asked for a more loyal and dedicated Vice-President. He basically put a price on the man's head.

And, there is a looooooooong line of people who were in his good graces and then weren't because they dared to say his Big Lie is just that. I would bet the farm that those people sitting in prison or at home with ankle bracelets have had a rude awakening. He doesn't do loyalty, appreciation, reciprocation or anything else that involves him not being a narcissistic sociopath who only cares about himself. Anybody that thinks he would treat them any different (meaning: thrown to the wolves) hasn't been paying attention.

Pandemic is not political per se, but politicians are using it as a political tool. E.g. implementing QR code (global surveillance), force useless vaccination or mask wearing.
Those measures segregated people, take away their rights and force them to be obedient i.e. agree with everything that government is doing.

I'll like that but with a caveat. The left seems to pick the science they want to pick, ignore the science of the other side, and claim that the other side is spreading misinformation when the left are also spreading misinformation and not being honest with the public. I would also point out that "advice" is just advice. People have the right to not listen to advice because this is America. The left somehow believe that people should be beaten into submission and absolutely must take the advice that the left wants them to take, people's rights be damned. This virus has spread because the left refuse to accept the fact that masked people spread the virus and vaccinated people spread the virus. The unvaccinated and unmasked must be discriminated against but they believe it is perfectly alright to let in 80,000 fully vaccinated people into football stadiums and somehow Covid wouldn't be spread.

People are angry about government getting so powerful that it can take people's rights away and even fire them from their jobs for not accepting their rights being taken away. And yet the left drum up Jan 6th, which took no one's rights away.

Biden is having to try and deal with the non-vaxxers that was started by trump and the maga crowd. It's difficult to deprogram cult members.

Trump didn't have anything to do with non-vaxxers. Haven't you figured that out yet? Non vaxxers are non vaxxers. It has nothing to do with Trump. He's tried more than once and he gets booed every time. In fact, it was DEMOCRATS who spent a year campaigning against Trump, telling Americans 24/7 that if Trump says to get vaccinated, don't listen to him.

He MADE it a political issue from the onset...........thus thwarting a proper response to handling it. He did not know how to deal with it........and was not prepared to take advice from the professionals. He chose to make fun of it....... giving it prejudicial names, and a hoax. He would rather trash those that could assist in managing this ..........creating constant negative distractions........from his mismanagement. and simple minded rhetoric.

It is just that there is a strong overlap between trumpets and non vaxxer and some of that dates back to this denial of the severity of the panedemic by Trump himself
