And don't forget one of the more troubling and consistent traits we see in Donald Trump: palilalia! As much as the hyperliberal Left enjoys parsing through every fault and defect that Trump has, it's strange that they never mention this one -- but if you read the definition of palilalia you'll see indications that may trouble you -- a lot!

Disclaimer: no, Trump "ain't my guy" -- but Geriatric Joe Biden sure as hell "ain't my guy", either!

It's breathtaking to consider that since 9/11, we've had four (FOUR) failed presidencies in a row! :lonely:

In addition, the job of POTUS is to make decisions and not The Big Show or self aggrandizement. Joe's doing a solid job of governing who cares if he not as steady as he used to be. Neither am I and I'm not his age.

So, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that Trump is an elderly man with cognitive issues and should therefore not be prosecuted for anything but that it is still OK for him to run for president.

He's not competent enough to spell trial but that's beside the point.

"Mr. Sloppy and Sweaty" was already a national security threat, now, with his great need for money, there is a "for sale" sign around his neck.

"Sounding the alarm about Trump’s growing dangerousness, Dr. John Gartner explained to me in a widely read conversation here at Salon that, “Not enough people are sounding the alarm, that based on his behavior, and in my opinion, Donald Trump is dangerously demented. In fact, we are seeing the opposite among too many in the news media, the political leaders and among the public. There is also this focus on Biden's gaffes or other things that are well within the normal limits of aging. By comparison, Trump appears to be showing gross signs of dementia. This is a tale of two brains. Biden's brain is aging. Trump's brain is dementing”.
Dr. Gartner’s colleague, Dr. Harry Segal, who is a senior lecturer at Cornell University and Weill Cornell Medical School, even went so far to suggest that Donald Trump should withdraw from the 2024 presidential campaign.
Because Donald Trump lacks impulse control and is almost pathological in his levels of projection, almost on cue following the State of the Union Speech he accused President Biden on his Truth Social disinformation platform of being a “psycho.”"

"Obviously low IQ": Former DHS official says "Donald Trump has apparent repeated memory lapses"

He should withdraw, but he will not. He has no self awareness as to all his issues. It is astonishing that he is still s supported by so many. ....who choose to be blind to all the baggage and issues.......and/or defend him by rationalizing, or spinning , diverting to blame Biden. Most of the time they make no sense at all. If they see his issues and still support him.......then their values/standards are certainly questionable. (and very low)

He can't withdraw, he'll lose any and all leverage/appeal over or to all foreign leaders, the GOP, fundraising and shielding himself from the law finally holding him accountable. He's self indulged to know that campaigning or even possibly claiming again that he was cheated is his own lifeline.

Which makes one question his real motives for running. They are varied ,questionable and not necessarily focused on doing good wok for the nation.

And now the most recent analysis based on this weekend's "feel good" event:
"As we all know, Trump's oratory skills have degenerated. His narrative was always choppy and ranting. But it's now added the fun feature of dementia-laden gibberish. And I think we've probably heard his last full sentence. The gaffes, however frequent, will not by themselves satisfactorily penetrate the mainstream media who does not know from phonemic aphasia and its significance. But - there have now been 6 to 10 major elongated drivels that cannot be ignored. There were two yesterday in PA. THAT, I believe, will break through. I guarantee his team worries about this. I guarantee they know he badly needs narcissistic nutrition from rallies to counter the rest of his miserable existence. But they know there's risk. And, however they're assessing it, and however they're addressing it, is THE secret of secrets. And their necessary cover-up of this, is the new Big Lie."

Phonemic paraphasias are a common presenting symptom in aphasia and are thought to reflect a deficit in which selecting an incorrect phonemic segment results in the clear-cut substitution of one phonemic segment for another.
