My statement was made in the present tense, not threads from the distant past.

    You are really getting desperate.

Good for you. Now defend Trump from the allegations made in this post.

61 Falcon stated, "Why does he think every leader from an adverserial to us country is his best buddy, after meeting them once???Yet he seems to have no desire to have a decent relationship with any leader of our long time allies??"

I answered him as best as I could.

There is one possible explanation. Recalling Helsinki where Trump trashed American intelligence and accepted Putin's word because he was sincere, recalling Trump's Syrian surrender to Russia and Iran, it is logical to assume Trump, willingly or unwillingly, is an agent for Russia.

We know Putin interfered in our election for Trump's benefit. We know Putin's goal is to create as much chaos as he can within the American government.

There has been chaos within our government caused by Trump. He was "proud" to cause the longest government shutdown in American history. This was followed by a Constitutional crisis in which Trump wants to usurp a power of Congress, the appropriation of funds. There is historical polarity in today's politics caused by an extremely unpopular President.

Putin is quite pleased with these developments.

You've claimed this many times. But you have no evidence at all of what Putin thinks.

You are making excuses for yourself and Trump's fans in general. Over half the threads currently on the board are critical of Trump. Trump's fans respond with threads about AOC, Democrats, socialism, guns, liberalism, anything but Trump.

If what you say is true about Trump's fans, in light of all the negative threads about Trump, it is human nature to defend a President one thinks is doing a great job like you say.

    But that isn't happening.

For example, as we speak Trump traveled to the other end of the planet to meet with the North Korean dictator. There has been tremendous criticism about Trump's glorified photo op and what he will give up for nothing in return. If what you say is true, there would normally be one or two threads about Trump's glorious attempt to bring peace to the Korean Peninsula and eliminate an existential threat to the U.S.

But that isn't happening. Nothing from Trump's many fans about his courageous journey to Hanoi.

"I dislike the man's personal quirks and habits while applauding his actual accomplishments -- and sincere attempts thereof -- as president." You will pardon me if I treat that statement with some skepticism. Quite frankly, in view of the facts in plain view, it is pure B.S.

There isn't even an attempt by Trump's fans to minimize the damaging effects of Michael Cohen's testimony today of a televised public hearing before the House Oversight Committee. Why?

Because Trump's fans feel no need to support Trump. They know they made a serious mistake and they simply won't admit it, but their posts reveal the truth. They should own up to their mistake and quit the B.S.

That is exactly what I mean. You question the obvious. You don't offer up challenges to what I say. You want me to waste time on the obvious.

Perhaps you think Putin wants a successful and powerful U.S. government.

    See what I mean.

The criticisms of Trump are all from the guys and gals who spent eight years as media wonks sucking off Barack Obama -- with patented leg tingles included; they are all DEMOCRATS. Sheesh!

    Fine.

    1) You think Putin wants the U.S. to increase its defense budget in a major way?
    2) You think Putin wanted North Korea to stop conducting nuclear tests and saber rattling?
    3) You think Putin wants the U.S. to base ABMs in Poland?
    4) You think Putin wants the U.S. to start building a new class of nuclear weapons?
    5) You think Putin wanted the U.S. to conduct air strikes against their allies in Syria?
    6) You think Putin wanted to lose 30 of their mercenaries and about 170 local allied troops in an attack on a U.S. base in Syria?
    7) You think Putin wants the U.S. to gain the upper hand in trade disputes with China?
    8) You think Putin wants European NATO members to agree to increase defense spending?

The fact is simple. The US is losing respect and allies across the world. So is it Trump as a Putin puppet or just Trump as a traitor. Time will tell which is true.

Your statement was plenary - it had no time frame.
Further, no honest, thinking person would classify the posts, above, no more than 4 months old, as the "distant past"

    So, I ask again:
Is yours a statement of ignorance, or dishonesty?

Prove it. Name ONE nation that was an ally of the U.S. before Trump became president that is no longer a U.S. ally.

    Just one.

Do your own research about opinions about the US around the world. Or you can look at the fact that our allies haven't suppported Trumps violation of the Iran deal. Ot the allies that are still buying oil from Venezuela. Or the fact that the TPP is going ahead without the US to the benefit of China. Or about a thousAnd other proofs of waning support for the US. I think there were even a few Examples of Nicki Haley making a fool of herself in the UN when our " allies" didn't support our resolutions.

But hey, those are just off the top of my head. Can probably find more evidence if you really need more proof.

Sure, Congress when it passed a bill providing for border security and ending the shutdown. The House when it passed a resolution to end Trump's power grab.

But, most important, if we had a President I had voted for, I would defend him against every thread that criticized him.

But that is not true of Trump's fans, none of them, which, of course, is my point.

    Both anti-Trump.
I did not vote for him. either. Neither Hilary or Trump was worthy of my vote. However, Trump is president and I will support him when he deserves support. I will also defend him when I think the criticize is not justified.
The problem is you think anyone who does not bad mouth him at every opportunity, must be a Trump fan.

This is the point of the thread.

There is a sure sign of weakness on the part of Trump's fans. They refused to talk about Trump.

Want proof. Look at the board. Trump is off to Hanoi to speak with Kim about the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. His national emergency to build his wall will be challenged in the House. His personal lawyer will be testifying before the House on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mueller is wrapping up his report.

    And a great deal more.

There is not a single thread started by a Trump fan directly related to Trump's activities or statements.

They largely avoid threads started by Trump's critics. If they do respond, it is a wisecrack not to be taken seriously.

I absolutely love it when Trump's fans help me prove my point.

I didn't vote for Donald Trump. But I support the majority of his policies he has pursued.

And I voted for both Bush's but I never defended every last one of either of their actions.

Yet they all remain U.S. allies. You claimed the U.S. had LOST allies!!! Once again, name one nation no longer allied with the U.S..

And even when Obama and others were U.S. presidents, we had "allies" that criticized U.S. policies.

Um . . . the actual point of this thread is that a RINO -- politically allied with leftists -- is bothered because Trump supporters do not bother to endlessly refute leftist generated anti-Trump propaganda in the same passion-infused way that Obama worshiping leftists blindly and hysterically defended Barack Obama 24/7/365, and thus the RINO concludes that Trump supporters MUST be turning against Trump. No; the Trump supporters recognize leftist propaganda -- whether delivered by actual leftists or their RINO political allies -- as the propaganda that it in fact is and that it's worth only so much time or effort to refute. Trump supporters do not WORSHIP Trump as leftists worshiped Barack Obama, because Trump supporters . . . are . . . not . . . leftists.

Of course there is a bit of polling data but we know that polls too are run by liberals except of course when they appears favorable to Trump.
