I can't speak for everyone else. I rarely start a thread period. I am simply not interested in putting in the amount of time required to defend my positions.

I personally don't really care that much. I have said it several times. I believe the democrats will be more upset by Trump not being impeached than I would by him being impeached.

I see most of what Trump has accomplished as being a good thing. I refuse to let the negative part upset me.

In short, as far as I am concerned, this particular thread is just a bunch of BS, not much different from a lot of the other BS from the left.

In 1986, neither France nor Spain would allow U.S. F-111s on their way to bomb Libya to cross their territory. Making it a much longer, tiring mission for the F-111 crews, definitely endangering the mission.

Would you say that France and Spain were not U.S. allies in 1986? President Reagan counted French President Mitterrand as one of his closest allies in Europe.

This is a dramatic illustration as to why Trump's fans don't start threads about Trump. This doesn't explain why they continue to support the idiot.

 

Having your allies disagree with you in no way makes them any less your allies. Spain and France disagreed with the U.S. response to Libyan terrorism and put that disagreement into actual actions that impacted us. But we still had no doubt that if a war broke out in Europe that both nations would support us in it.

The Foreign ministries of various of our allies expressing displeasure with U.S. policies doesn't make them any less our allies.

 

I've explained to you directly why I support President Trump repeatedly.

Did you read the polls. And yes allies disagree but the degree to which they disagree is relevent. And lets be honest, our allies haven't really supported us militarily in any significant way since before Vietnam. And now they don't even support us politically. Witness our idiots withdrawal from the Iran deal or the lack of support for the US in the UN.

In fact it does seem to be getting harder and harder to find anywhere that our " allies" actually support us. Maybe you can supply your list to prove that our allies are actually still allies.
