That is not how any contract works period in any industry. Look I get they are suiting to get their money per their contract. It convinces them that what they did was not in violation of said contract. Sometimes it is mutual and sometimes it is not. We have seen this with contracts of coaches in high school, college, and even in professional sports, media, and others.
Do you have anything to support the assertion that either one are suing anyone over their contracts, or did you make that part up?
It all depends on the contract. If what happens after a dismissal were not included I'd be looking for new contract lawyers.
Yes in the link below. If you are fired and are under contract, both parties are no longer under any obligation to each other,. One does not get paid or have to abide by the terms of the contract as well as the employee in which they signed the contract. They can't or will not be obligated to show up for work, among other things. The question is really was the termination for cause. If yes, then no more money. But if no cause, then the money is paid or negotiated, but that's it. https://www.legalmatch.com/law-libr... terminated, the contract prior to termination.
So basically you are saying that if the contract is terminated, both parties are sill obligated to each other. The website I cited specifically states, "After a contract is terminated, the parties to the contract do not have any future obligations to each other. However, one or both parties might be liable for breach of the terms of the contract prior to termination." Do you even understand what that means Dixon? No yoiu don't because if you did, you woudn't have said or argued that they are still obligated to each other.
And when Biden's administration, CIA, and/or FBI comes for him, and/or Elon, I hope they are ready to pounce with a 1A suit to expose, and then crush this government's novel entanglement with free citizens' speech.
Has Tucks chimed in on this anonymous claim yet? 'Tucker Carlson's Ouster Was Part of Settlement' Source: Political Wire 'Variety: “On April 26, Carlson spoke by phone with one of Fox Corp.’s eight board members, who told the host that his recent benching was a condition of Fox News’ settlement with Dominion Voting Systems.” “The unnamed board member told Carlson that the condition does not appear in any of the settlement’s documents, and instead was a verbal agreement. If Fox didn’t comply, the settlement was off, Carlson was told. Dominion had plenty of leverage given that the $787.5 million deal to settle Dominion’s defamation suit against the network wouldn’t officially close until late-May.' More Fox firing and $$$ pay outs. FOX Fires Producer Responsible for 'Wannabe Dictator' Chyron; Tucker Holdover... snip: 'Former Tucker Carlson Tonight managing editor Alexander McCaskill, who features prominently in a toxic work environment lawsuit by a former colleague, is no longer with the network. McCaskill confirmed his exit in a private Instagram post reviewed by The Daily Beast, in which he said it was “the best place I’ve ever worked” and claimed he asked Fox “to let me go.” Carlson himself revealed the news without naming McCaskill in the latest episode of his “Tucker on Twitter” video series. The ousted Fox News host said that after the chyron ran, “the women who run the network panicked.” “First they scolded the producer who put the banner on the screen,” Carlson claimed. “Less than 24 hours after that, he resigned. He had been at Fox for more than a decade. He was considered one of the most capable people in the building. He offered to stay for the customary two weeks, but Fox told him to clear out his desk and leave immediately.” Set to settle with sex harassment accuser? Snip: "Grossberg, a former top producer for the right-wing hosts Maria Bartiromo and Tucker Carlson, made a series of stunning claims against the network in a lawsuit filed in March just as Dominion Voting Systems' historic defamation case was careening toward trial. Among many of the bombshell allegations included in her complaint was the charge that Fox News lawyers coerced her into providing misleading testimony when she was deposed as part of Dominion's billion-dollar lawsuit. She later accused Fox News chief executive Suzanne Scott of being complicit in the alleged coercion and claimed Fox’s lawyers deleted messages from her phone. Grossberg also made a number of eye-popping allegations about the workplace environment at Fox News, accusing the network of rampant sexism. Fox News previously said that Grossberg's lawsuit was "riddled with false allegations." The network repeatedly insisted that its lawyers always acted appropriately.'
