Perhaps the Turks would like to let in Lebanese and Iraqi refugees? I did not think so. And it is really quite hypocritical for the Turks to be complaining about "human rights" with all the issues the turks have recently had with the ethnic kurds. The Mexicans have been complaining about the wall the Americans built to keep them out, but the Mexicans actually built their own border wall in the south to keep out the even poorer El Salvadorans and Hondurans! I think the truth is that a small number of families in turkey are hoarding a disproportionate amount of the land and wealth, and they just want to unload some of their "undesirable poor" onto germany, which has higher taxes on its wealthy. It is not fair for the wealthy in germany to be subsidizing poorer Turks whom the upper class in Turkey refuse to take care of. If Germany allowed unlimited immigration into its country, the standard of living would fall to level not much higher than the countries where the immigrants came from. The high wages and good working conditions of Germany have much to do with the limited supply of labor. More competition amongst workers would drive down wages and working conditions.
In the 1930s so many German Jews fled to Turkey.. especially artists, musicians, writers, performers of all sorts.
It would appear Turkey has given up on it's application for full EU membership, since recent statements made by Erdogan are not doing him any favours.
This is debating throwing out a glassfull of water while the boat is sinking. Germany is on the road to becoming the Islamic republic of Northern Turkey. That seems ridiculous even as I type it, but that actually does seem to be the current situation. Non-muslim german fertility is ridiculously low, while muslim fertility is higher and more muslim immigrants pour in constantly, and it sounds like they simply do not integrate.
+1 much possible or turkey wants to tray knock other door-black mail +2 it´ll take 200 years i guess , then Germans will never give up political power to other nation/race/etc
The German-Turkish relationship has a very long history. During the Second World War, more than eighty German scientists, scholars and artists fled to Turkey. The scientists and scholars helped to develop the Turkish university system. Ernst Reuter, who was persecuted by the Nazis and later became the mayor of Berlin, also fled to Turkey. The German exiles are still held in high esteem today. In the 1970s, the Turkish university system very strongly oriented itself to Anglo-American models. But along with the membership negotiations between Turkey and the EU, there has clearly been an increased interest in the European and the German university system. http://www.goethe.de/wis/fut/uhs/en4035215.htm
Not unless they change course. Their fundamental issue is that their fertility rate is something like 1.36 This means as things are going now that in two generations either the majority of children in Germany will be Muslim or Germany will have a massive population inversion, which pretty much means the end of their social programs for the eldarly. So they need to fundamentaly change something, and they don't have all that long to do it. But of course they could change any number of things. For example they could send boats over to Mexico and let them in by the millions. But something has to change.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Turkey Turkey served as a transit for European Jews fleeing Nazi persecution during the 1930s and 1940s.[32][33] Even though Turkey remained neutral during World War II (until its symbolic declaration of war on Nazi Germany on 23 February 1945) and officially forbade granting visas to German Jews, individual Turkish diplomats (such as Necdet Kent, Namık Kemal Yolga, Selahattin Ülkümen and Behiç Erkin) did work hard to save Jews from the Holocaust According to Prof. Stanford J. Shaw "some 15,000 Turkish Jews from France, and even of some 100,000 Jews from Eastern Europe" were saved because of Turkish effort
many people risked their lives and hide Jews for years(especially in the east Europe), not just transit and "granting visas", so what?Turkey has not done something extraordinary
Oh wow how inhuman to make sure not more millions of welflare / criminal turks enter Germany how dare they! Perhaps Turkey will let in a few million Somali's and feel how it is to let in a unproductive useless immigrant group
Einstein was thinking different than you, and he was right because some ''civilizations'' even can't say the name of Jews, Turkey accepted them. And these proffesors got the high positions in Turkish Universities. Sultan Bayezid II sent Kemal Reis to save the Sephardic Jews of Spain from the Spanish Inquisition in 1492 and granted them permission to settle in the Ottoman Empire. If Safarad Jews are living now in Selonika, Izmir, Anatolia and all around the Europe they own this little bit to Ottoman Muslims. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Turkey
Would you share us the crime rate of the German Turks to compare how terrific the situation is. Thanks.
I am sorry but Turkish people always opened the door people who needs help. They were Arabs and Kurds in Gulf War, Now Syrian Arabs, Old years Jews. And i don't beleive here few guy is showing the all idea of Europe. They always follow the posts of Turkish hatred and they even can't say bad for killing people. On the other hand if Germany puts some rules for immigration, i respect it too. If these rules are acceptable they have right that if somebody immigrate to Germany has to accept to learn language and pass the education. However this wouldn't be valid for people who is already moved there. But also they will find fair if Turkey puts similar rule for Germans?
really ?? which help this one ??? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZbjCH4XM2s&feature=player_embedded"]Kurdistan Zaxo 1991 turkiya blahe 1 v - YouTube[/ame]
Mythes extra sadism and brutality of Spanish Inquisition happy and productive life of Spanish Jews in Ottoman Empire
The Turks have put genocide on virtually every miniority which lived in Anatolia... Assyrians, Greeks Kurds and Armenians alike. Its quite simple Germany has to many unproductive turks which will never contribute in any way. Yes Turkey may apply the same rules on Germans, if you want to lose billions go ahead, after all only Old Germans move to turkey to live there, or people go on holiday to Turkey, if the Turks dislike this there plenty of other nations to go to. Greece, Morocco to name a few.
