Actually that was a fire extinguisher he was carrying just before he had to defend himself from an attack by the arsonist. He was headed to put out a fire.
Oh. Sorry. I'm going to start paying attention to the Ahmaud Arbery case. @modernpaladin do you think those 3 killers will get off scot free too?
No. It looks to me like they attempted a citizens arrest without the legal authority to conduct one. Citizens arrest laws vary by state, but the ones I'm familiar with require the citizen to personally witness their arrestee commit a felony before a citizens arrest can be lawfully conducted. I dont think that prerequisite was met here, which means they effectively were attempting to kidnap him. I think they should be charged with attempted kidnapping, as well with manslaughter for the attempted unlawful kidnapping having resulted in their victims death.
Here is someone carrying his black privilege. Just recently a man was found not guilty on 5 counts, including murder and attempted murder. His argument was that he was exercising his right to self-defense. His name is Andrew Coffee. He’s a black man, so you won’t hear about it on MSNBC or Twitter.
Kyle Rittenhouse is a threat to black people? Lmao what did he do to a single black person? Ahmaud Arbery was lynched? Holy cow Batman. Why not state the facts rather than your dreams? He was not lynched, he was most definitely murdered but he was not lynched. Do you think lying about a case further supports your argument or something?
The Rittenhouse case empowers every American, including black Americans to use deadly force in self defense. Especially so against a lynch mob. IMO, Aubrey's use of deadly force against his attackers would have been fully justified. Sadly he was unable to do so.
His dad lives there, he worked there… why is he not allowed to be there? The gun charge was dropped because he was undeniably within the law.
I don't think so. Totally different case then Rittenhouse. I also wonder why it took a while to arrest them.
The murder of Ahmaud Arbery shows why Americans need to assert their right to carry arms. Arbery needed a gun.
No it sends a message that if you can’t chase someone down in the streets, threaten his life, and use weapons on him without him being legally allowed to defend himself.
Well said how? She didn’t even paint an accurate picture of the actual events. He didn’t kill someone just because he had a gun. He killed someone for chasing him and attacking him
Yes, cause he asked them to chase him, stomp on him, beat him with skateboards and point guns at him. What a moronic line of thought.
Almost all of the MSM reporting on the Rittenhouse case has been Fake News. It is very hard to discover the facts these days.
She’s not following anything. She is actually claiming someone who was shot was lynched and that’s a complete lie.
The irresponsible media is still pushing this trial and outcome is based on race even though race had nothing to do with it.
That’s Bull. No one supports just murdering blacks. They didn’t shoot him dead until after he tried to grab his gun. If he wasn’t trespassing they wouldn’t have even chased him. But I do agree that this case constitutes murder. However guy was definitely trespassing and that’s what provoked the encounter all together.
Does that matter? He didn’t go to be an EMT, he went to provide medical assistance. That’s obviously not the same as an EMT.
What blows me away is that @Moriah clearly thinks this is more detrimental to blacks in America than their own destructive culture of idolizing the streets, drugs, unprotected sex, and murder. African Americans have a serious culture problem. Their graduation rate is so poor they’re trying to dumb down schools just to get their numbers higher. African Americans have much bigger problems than the Rittenhouse case. Problems only they can fix.
