Why wasn't this a national story? Why hasn't the race obsessed media made a racial issue out of it since the victim was white and the nursing staff were black?

Family of the 89 year old man put cameras in the room when they suspected negligence and abuse. The man who is not brain dead, he admitted himself complained he could not breathe. He repeatedly put on his call light and was told to stop. He was a full code yet when he coded and stopped breathing hardly any effort was made to save him.

2 nurses and an aide were charged with crimes ONLY because the hidden cameras revealed their actions. These black women had no regard whatsoever for this 89 year old WW2 vet.

He did not live at the home he was there to rehab from hip surgery.

Justice was served one nurse pled to murder and got 8 years in prison. Too bad the MSM did not value this man's life enough to report this properly.

 

Imagine this is reversed. Imagine that 3 fatass white nurses repeatedly ignored the complaints of an 89 year old alert black man who said his chest hurt and he could not breath. They did not even do a set of vital signs on the man!

Imagine that a black man's life was of no value or concern to the people charged with his care and those people, all of them white let him die? I bet CNN would cover the story then.

Anybody notice a trend yet? Why was this not all over the news? Grabs the WC bound woman by the hair and throws her to the ground. Being cheered on by her friend.

Again reverse the situation and imagine a white employee doing that to an elderly black woman. There were witnesses but nobody stopped her.

A poster has the nerve to ask what the hell this has to do with race?

 

A. Because it is not a hot button issue.
B. Yeah it happened, but national news media only have so much they can cover and they will cover topics that will bring in viewers. You know, profit first before journalism.
C. Elderly negligence is something that is more common than what this story shows, but most people are really not interested in this at all. They want the juicy stuff, like Johnny Depp v Amber Heard.

 

Another hate crime. Only broken bones involved here. She is white so her life does not matter.

I worked in those types of facilities for years. It can be frustrating working in memory care. What we see here are people who do not regard these residents as human and these black people would never do that to an elderly black person.

 

And that’s why I didn’t let my grandma go to a nursing home. Cause I promise if they did this to her the only trial y’all would need to concern yourself with would be mine.

 

Imagine they did not set up the hidden camera. There should be cameras in every room where there is person who cannot speak or advocate for themselves if the family signs off on it and is willing to forgo privacy.

It has happened, as in this article where the Texas State Agency failed to do its job. And in this article, where the WSJ stated that elder abuse was on the rise, stoked by the pandemic. And then you have this ex-nurse, who is white and killed 8 patients of hers, was front line news after her consecutive 8 life sentences.

And if you have worked in nursing homes, assisted living centers, etc, then you would know that this is more common than the public actually realizes. The good news, there are state agencies that monitor this sort of thing and laws on the books where the facilities are REQUIRED to report such abuse. But then again, for-profit nursing homes do not exactly have a good history of compliance with this sort of thing and will do what it can to minimize the number of reports to only the blatantly obvious. Merely obvious and obvious need not apply.

 

And the Democrat party continues to push that with Critical Race Theory indoctrination in the public schools

Yeah I've always notice a higher percentage of blacks working in nursing homes than the local demographics. Not sure why but it seems to be a thing. All of the ones I've personally come across have been really good, and abuse takes shape in all sizes and colors. I know of some white nurses who have like a 20-50 body count from working at nursing homes/ end of life care who are sitting in prison now.

Also, caring for the old imo is some of the most challenging work one can do. Need better support/pay/care and oversight.

as someone who has been by a family member's side for over a year during a very traumatic hospital experience, I can tell you with 100% certainty there is a HUGE difference on how black staff treats white patients

 

When the victim is black, race has everything to do with it.

 

Reverse the races and there would be riots, looting and arson. Autonomous zones would be established, this guy would get three televised funerals and there would be a moment of silence and kneeling at the capital by Pelosi and Schumer. On top of that, there would be calls to defund hospitals and folks on this board would say people go into the medical profession just to kill certain people.

Now you might ask why these nurses did what they did and it’s possible they were inspired by Michelle Obama’s disgust for old white men or Oprah Winfrey’s wish that old white people would die.
