You're confusing the toilet with the bath, I hope this is not a regular thing for you. But yes apparently the water drain in opposite directions depending on the hemisphere you are in (I've been in the Northern hemisphere but was too busy to check at the time), a good icebreaker for visitors from the north... if not a little overused
