Its not funny.. not to me anyway. It was just said by a comedian. If you ever see the clip of that performance you will see that he was not going for a laugh .. he was very serious.

He's a lib. Ironically his politicians are most of the problem. The problem with Republicans is they have become too much like libs.

Well your right, it won't be fixed. We keep electing the same idiots we complain about. We know they are all bad, except our own and we'll keep electing our own.

It won't change because we've forgotten how to think for ourselves. We let our Party do the thinking for us and we'll do what ever they say. They don't really care what we think, No matter what you call or write them complaining about, you get back the same old form letter. The only reason they like you to contact them is to get your name on their list so they can later ask you for money.

Yes, they have been bought and paid for by big money and they have all the rest of us thinking they really care about us. We're stupid enough to eat up everything they tell us.

The US compulsory "education" system was originally designed to produce a work force. Now it's designed to produce a work force and an obedient citizenry.

Carlin was/is correct in much of his statement. Schools don't educate, they indoctrinate. They don't teach children and young adults to think, they teach them to obey.

This article is the text of a speech by John Taylor Gatto accepting the New York City Teacher of the Year Award on January 31, 1990.

What's funny is that it's the sentiment in that piece that politicians prey upon.
