I graduated with a Political Science degree and another in Philosophy. Then I opened the want ads and..... ....................D'oh!
I love political science and entertainment. I don’t know of political science careers in the entertainment industry. I just know of more world and societal issues regarding political science. I think intellectual property law is one of the most popular legal careers in the entertainment industry.
Maybe if you're a Democrat. If you're a Republican, the only "girls" you're going to meet being a campaign staffer are in their 70s. You must be young to not know what want ads are. They are the advertisements that appear in newspapers (Help Wanted) and used to be the most common way people found jobs. Good luck and keep us posted about your job search.
Running for Office? Beto = $70-80 million running against Cruz Obama = est. $2 to 6 billion running for re-election
Actually it is one of the most lucrative degrees there is and allows you to work in many different fields because of it's versatility. Getting a masters in it opens even more specific options and political science is the number one undergrad degree for those wishing to move into being a lawyer. With just a basic degree however it allows you to qualify to work in sectors such as education or business, any human resources position, management jobs and especially the government, particularly any of the intelligence fields such as the NSA, CIA, or even military intelligence branches especially as analysts. If you graduated with a degree in political science and weren't able to find a job that is completely your fault for not trying. Hell, go to the CIA homepage and starting pay is around 80k a year for a masters in political science.
