    Interesting the influx of pro-Russian sentiment here on PF lately.

    If we had a decent intelligence agency it seems like there are plenty of foot soldiers in the Ukraine to deal with Putins little plan.

    Global recrimination of the "independant units" needs to be minimal. Focus on Russian interference and disregard of international law. The threat of mutual annihilation may need to be revived. If pro russian units become active UN and special unit support needs to be given, and should be at ready as of now.

    Russia needs to stop now.

    No one insults anyone.
    Some of us feel the government in Kiev is undemocratic,
    a product of a massive demonstration supported by Western interests.
    The rapidity of Western recognition of the Kiev government was unusual because the West usually reserved recognition of such governments for a while unless such government changes were promoted by the West, like in Chile.
    To many of us, the government in Kiev does not seem legitimate although it is de facto.
    Denying Ukraine as a bilingual nation by the new law was hardly "democratic", considering who passed the law.
    This was not wise of the Kiev government and seems indicative of some anti Russian feelings, even Ukrainian Russians.


    Litwin, really there is no hatred or bias. For my part I treat all gentiles the same, regardless of type :roflol:
    Let's respectably and with intellect exchange how we each evaluate a situation from the information sources we chose.

    What Ukrainian intellectuals, I don't know any, and why do you say I lie? I'm only repeating what I read by non Ukrainian intellectuals. Anyway why do you say the Greeks are fascists. They come in all shapes and sizes: Communists, royalists, fascists, socialists, crooks, etc. Besides, there is no Slavic minority in Greece, they intermarried about a thousand years ago. :confuse:

    I really hope you are wrong. He has painted himself into a corner, but if all nations decided that previously held territories (that have friendly residence remaining) are up for grabs the world will get a lot more chaotic.

    Seems like there is a lot of economic leverage in this, mostly concerned with coddling Putins ego.

    Did the Russians really elect this guy??

    1) you did not answer on my question, all what i see in Russian media look like "pro-war mass psychotic reaction". stand up comedians , old singers, middle age women want ukranien blood, they were in same condition during "war " with Georgia. pure madness.... intellectual are very isolated, middle class is against but scared to do something . so my question : Can Putin control the situation ? in the long run the sanctions will lead to detraction of RF
