The problem for your vision is that people like me represent human capital based on education, training and experience. Whether by death, retirement, disability or otherwise, the reservoir of human capital is diminished with the passing of such people.

This is the case because they aren't being replaced in sufficient numbers to bear the burden of more dependent classes. How do I know this to be true? You have eyes and ears. What do they tell you about the quality of public education in America for the past two generations?

This cartoonish revisionist history is getting old.

What's important is that prior to the advent of talk radio no one took right wingers seriously- including themselves. If it is true, as conservatives claim, that society marginalized social conservatives before then, then we can say people like Rush Limbaugh are directly responsible for the destruction of civil society in America. Before people like him started putting ridiculous propaganda into morons heads and making them believe they were more legitimate than educated and or cooperative people, they didn't even consider rebelling against society.

Now we have chaos because stupid, selfish or lazy people believe they are more worthy to run society than educated, qualified and/or moral people (I am using moral to mean supporting society or humanity rather than personal whims).

HAY GUISE, WANNA SEE A MAGIC TRICK?!?

You see what I did there?

You're free to move. It's a lot harder to move that chemical plant, which could very well be manufacturing the plastic that becomes the mouse and keyboard that you are tapping your fingers on right now.

The USA came pretty close after the death of the Second Bank and before the rise of the Federal Reserve.

Everyone throws these words around like holy mantras, but we mean different things.

I remember in the 50s and 60s, right-wingers were a rump of loony people in the John Birch society that Mad magazine made fun of and no one took seriously. They weren't even equated with the kkk back then since those people were seen as just vicious racists.
It's a shame to see just how low they have sunk since then.

well now Albert , you've made some relevant points. However , in my opinion , you've overlooked or discounted as irevelant several key facts .

The main fact being that my eyes and ears tell me that there are a whole lot of Americans out there that maybe be ignorant by your educational standards . .

    but they have 1 vote , you have 1 vote , I have 1 vote .

and they's a whole lot more of me than there is of you . .

    it's about a 99 % to a 1 % ratio . . LOL . ( pun intended ) :?

This thread is actually a perfect example of Projection.
The Democrat Party almost lives by the device.
To project their Sins and their flaws onto their opposition as if
no one is supposed to recognize.
Their is No finer example of Submission than this Lamstream
towards this Dictatorial President.Explain why not a single Lamestream
network or newspaper is willing to in the least, slightly make criticism of this President.Plus we already know how "submissive " this Lamstream is
towards any Mention of - Fast & Furious - or - Solyandra -.
This tread is demonstration of False Positive.

This isn't the way it looks to me. Obama gets a lot more criticism than, say, Bush ever did.

Those voters who you say will rule this country are in direct competition with third world workers in a globalized world. God help them. I hope they realize that all glory is fleeting.

Sorry yer confusing the John Birch Society with stuff like Libertarians.
I remember as a sophmore a member of John Birch spoke in my
Civics class. He dressed like some person at a Salvation Army store.
Threadbare suit kinda like a Jehova's Witness. He said stuff that I
thought was a joke of some kind. All kinds of inner conspiracy.
Just Like Ron Paul and Alex Jones.

That is totally absurd. So absurd I no longer want to post here.
i've yer just going to Live in La La Land, then do it on yer own.
Brent Bozell at Media research has the stats. How many Obama
negative stories were run by the Lamstream.I think at it's height
there were 20 negative stories about Republicans to 1 negative story
about Obama.Multiple that by thousands of stories and headlines.
    {1 } in 20 negative Obama stories.Or TV coverage.And most of that
    { 1 }were actually about Pelosi and/or Reid,not specifically Obama.

No way. You're being lied to. Don't you remember the coverage? "And it's George Bush on the flight deck ... wow, what a huge dick."
