US govt lies about 825 Billion Dollars to be spent this year

Another way the govt steals money is pretending money spent on
illegal immigrants isn't huge and growing.

The maze of health insurance. Even the government health insurance
after going through the government maze then has to be bought from
the market place and goes through the private sector complexities as
well.

Half the cost of US health care goes on health insurance profits,
and the enormous complexity of the billing processes.

Here in New Mexico the health insurance companies can change
their mind on coverage up to 7 years later. I recently got billed for
two visits 2 years ago, which had originally been paid, then refused.

I'm on board with you on that, though with a variation - that
the nation which lied constantly, as described in detail by
Solzhenitsyn was the USSR. I'm not onboard the Putin
bashing brigade because I have evaluated the alternatives
and though some of those are better for the US, they are
not better for Russia, nor even acceptable to the Russian

Why should the U.S. disclose what it is spending on defense? I would prefer we didn't. In fact, I'd prefer if we just said 0.00.

the Defense Budget, in the Department of Defense, from directly defending
the country on the Southwestern border, or as far as I know, in any way
directly.

 

Posse Comitatus was rendered null and void by Reagan's bringing the military into the drug war, and again with the Branch Davidian Waco fiasco.

 

The military can be used in illegal ways but obviously only for evil causes,
because people wanting to save the country would not be willing do it in

I didn't see anything claiming that the purpose of our military is to protects the nation. Nevertheless we all know that the purpose of our military since WWII has been to defend other countries. As an Army draftee in the 1960's I was involved in defending someone else's country. It didn't make sense then and it still doesn't. Watch China. They do it right. They gain international power surreptitiously without resorting to arms. No wonder they don't need a defense budget as large as ours. Pay attention, Washington. The Chinese are smarter than you are.

What is unhealthy about the food pyramid? The answer is nothing. A well balanced diet is the healthiest diet. Overeating is not cheap and unhealthy.

The profit margin for insurance companies is less than 5%. That's not where the cost is. It's in the government maze and billing costs, as you said, but mostly in provider costs. Costs for giving everyone a bunch of plastic crap that could be cleaned and reused, unneeded tests to avoid malpractice suits, freeloaders, elevated drug prices to make up for lower 3rd world country prices, etc.

 

They are important for a healthy diet. Calling them bad is a recent fad thanks to people selling weight loss programs. Obesity is caused by overeating, not by eating carbohydrates. You can gain weight by overeating proteins. The best and healthiest way to lose weight is to control portions. I control weight by controlling how much I eat, not what I eat. I have been seriously overweight. I no longer am. I have a 33" waist. I have some great home made blueberry muffins in the freezer with lots of carbohydrates. I think I'll defrost one and eat half of it.

 

Excessive carbs are bad..... especially over long periods of time... the dose makes the poison

the best way to lose weight is to reduce insulin and calories.... insulin is the fat storage hormone, you can't burn fat with high insulin

before processed food and seed oils, most people ate a natural diet... meat, vegetables and potatoes, they did not eat more carbs than the body could handle over long long periods of time, the body can only store so much Glycogen, now people eat excessive amounts of carbs and seed oils every day

 

The defense budget has run out of gas and we will see a decline in production of next gen weapons. The 2025 budget will only be used to support the current weapons. 19 ships are scheduled for replacement next year while only 6 ships will be the replacements. That is a decline in military power.

Reducing calories to a level below what the metabolism burns is the only way to lose weight. The conflict is how one reduces the calories. Doctors tell me to eat a balanced diet and control portions. Personally I lost 80 lbs doing that. It wasn't fast. It was slow and steady. Healthy weight loss.
