Do you post on any of the Chinese English language boards in order to criticize China? Do you post on any of the Chinese American boards in order to criticize China over Tibet or Xinjiang?

Yeah, best to leave your thoughts on this matter to the imagination where they dwell anyway.

There is no reason to insult me. And that is clearly your intention. Do you understand that insults make discourse difficult and meaningless? You and I have discussed this before and I am not going to expend any effort to cover that ground again. I am not your play thing.

Then you don't understand the basics of effective communication. It doesn't matter how smart you are if you can't effectively communicate.

The Australian left is completely merciless and unforgiving of even the slightest failing of America. But it is willing to be understanding of any other country's sins. This is the basis for my conclusion that a friendship or alliance between America and Australia is simply too uncertain and unreliable to be effective.

I'm not insulting you. Your opinion of my is, imho, truly contrived in the imaginary, and by imaginary I mean it in the psychoanalytic sense:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Imaginary_(psychoanalysis)

    Not at all.

Yep, along with ad hominem, like "you hate America." I dont recall saying you hate me, but anyway.

I didnt intend to make you so.

Do you think you or I are profiting in any way from any of our exchanges? I don't. I think we should stop communicating.

Which "Australian left" is that? Given I'm right wing, I'm not following.

Epic fail. That's a funny position, but remarkably ignorant all the same.

I have been offline for a few days and was reading the posts in reverse to find out why Albert was carrying on about bipolar.

LOL Now I know he will pick up any little word and create fantasies from it. Albert my dear friend, he says "Politically Bipolar". Now to me, in this case, bipolar would mean, two poles, two ends.

The FreeDictionary.com definition pretty much agrees with us.

    1. Relating to or having two poles or charges.
    2. Relating to a device capable of using two polarizations, such as a transistor that uses positive and negative charge carriers.
    3. Relating to or involving both of the earth's polar regions.
    4. Having two opposite or contradictory ideas or natures: the bipolar world of the postwar period.
    5. Biology Having two poles or opposite extremities: a bipolar neuron.
    6. Psychology Relating to a major affective disorder that is characterized by episodes of mania and depression.

See Albert, doesn't take a councillor, just a dictionary and the ability to read

And Albert, yes learn about countries you are going to talk about, college isn't part of the Australian School System, it is a separate thing, unlike the US.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. We gain nothing from our exchanges except abrasion.

Well all the more reason for us to terminate further communication.

    Not my fault.

Well that stands to reason for someone who doesn't know the meaning of the word "Bipolar" and has no idea of other countries educational or political systems.

We must not forget that Australians know a lot more about what is really going on in the world then do others, especially Americans.

What have you gained by asking me if I am walking on the road to hell? Has that advanced any understanding? Of course not. What was your intention in asking me such a question?

    I apologize for my ignorance.

I previously asked you a question which you ignored. Do you post on any Chinese boards and address Chinese policy in Tibet and Xinjiang? Can you give me an answer?

No worries. To fill you in, we currently have a Labor (what is called left wing by our conservatives) government that is pro-US. The right is the harbinger of US support however, as our Liberal party (one of the few liberal parties in the world that is dominated by conservatives) supports virtually every and any US action internationally.

Which was that? I may have missed it, but I'll go back and answer it.

If I knew enough, I would. From what I know it seems entirely unjustified. This is beside the point in addressing US crimes, however.

It is not polite to answer a question with a question. Answer my questions and then I will answer yours.

So I take it you don't address the Chinese occupation of Tibet and Xinjiang. Inform yourself. Knowledge of the Chinese occupations won't hurt you.

So the only crimes as you call them on which you focus are the alleged crimes of Americans. Everyone else gets a pass. Why?
