Yet law is not the end all and be all. There have been plenty of governments that make law that would be offensive to us today and currently out government is creating law based on special interest instead of freedom of the people. Also, when government capriciously begins to dictate what people can and cannot do for the benefit of politicians (see Harry Reid) we have a problem.

 

The same way you know you would never snort cocaine off of a naked 8 year old boys ass. That was an absolutely stupid question and you displayed a vulgar lack of class by insinuating that he could possibly be a cop killer.

 

Nothing wrong with questioning laws and debating whether they should be changed. However, pointing loaded weapons at law enforcement is a whole different thing. These people who did that are lucky they aren't dead. In case you didn't know, the normal procedure when someone points a firearm at law enforcement is the use of deadly force. Given that law enforcement are Americans with families who were simply doing the job the court ordered them to do, I can't say I would have faulted them for firing on anyone pointing weapons at them. I'm sure glad that didn't happen though.

 

Does it offend you that he didnt show sympathy for them? Did it rob you of some gloating potential? Get over yourself. You are trying desperately to make an authoritative claim that what these 2 did is a rational reason to fear all people who align themselves with the ideology of the tea party. I hate to break it to you sport, but both parties have their fair share of psychopaths that are a danger to society.I know you are excited to have this story to chalk up in your win column for the day, but for those keeping score both parties have plenty of wins and plenty of losses. You should really look for ways to mature politically and stop rolling around in the adolescent political mud. Some people cheer for a football team, some people cheer for a soccer team and some people just cheer for the demise of a political party. It cant be healthy to be intellectually dishonest with such frequency.

 

All of this still doesn't change the fact that the shooter was angry for being arrested by the government for pot, a liberal cause by any means.

 

Dont be thick, it is painfully obvious what their motivations were. If you are going to try to cast doubt I would choose something a little less documented

Again, debating a law and it's justification is fine. Killing people or threatening to kill people is not.

In order to fully appreciate the dramatic delivery of your post, I feel we should define what a gun nut is so that there is no confusion. Can you tell us, in detail, what a gun nut is since you are the one using the phrase?
