Clap clap clap....well done. You've established the reason for this labor dispute. Now how about addressing the injunction by a New Jersey Supreme Court justice against IBEW local 827 (my father was an officer in this union, by the way) from ”Dropping, spreading, throwing, placing or otherwise causing nails, glass, cinder block, spikes, feces, clubs, rocks, screws, or puncture devices of any kind, or other object or debris to be thrown or strewn in, on, or about Verizon’s driveways, parking lots, entrances, exits, vehicles and adjoining roads to any of Verizon’s property or at any work site.” http://www.laborunionreport.com/por...lace-feces-on-verizon-property/#ixzz1V8DWfgW8 Feces throwing is just one of the cute little tricks that the guys with hard hats and pick ups are using here. And as long as the IBEW is acting like a bunch of animals, or Teamsters, which is more or less the same thing, in a labor dispute (giving Verizon a sort of public relations coup they would under other circumstances never ever receive) they deserve the black eye their thuggish tactics have earned them. When union goons stop behaving like goons (including sabotage of Verizon lines) then they will deserve to have their grievances heard. Until then your "poor poor me" routine on behalf of vandals will get the sort of attention it richly deserves...which is to say, it will be rightly ignored and laughed off.
1) They are being asked to actually pay their fair share of their benefits package. 2) No I don't care, Verizon should fire them all and hire out of work American's.
Told not to throw feces??? Just who the (*)(*)(*)(*) on the outside of a Zoo Cage throws feces anyway?
I don't believe I've ever heard of Tea partiers and republicans using feces, human or otherwise, as a means of protest.
watch some of the videos , tell me who the grown up is , one union got hit but the picket line surrounded the guy in the truck , the union is out of line here
Examples of union tactics. http://www.tomsrivernjonline.com/20...ge-to-vehicles-block-road-ways-police-called/ "As the Verizon workers strike continues, things took a turn for the worse in Toms River as union workers allegedly laid roofing nails and damaged a vehicle entering the company’s lot on Hooper Avenue." "Police officers at the secene had to secure the location to protect workers from the protesting union workers. “Operations Commander Captain Steven Henry then arranged a meeting with representatives of the union and Verizon to establish the ground rules to ensure public safety of all concerned.” according to Mastronardy." http://www.laborunionreport.com/por...carry-coffins-outside-verizon-chairmans-home/ "On Friday evening, up to 3,000 protesters from the CWA, IBEW, and other union supporters conducted a candlelight vigil and mock funeral outside of Verizon Chairman Ivan Seidenberg’s home in West Nyack, New York. According to Patch.com, the “vigil” lasted about two hours and began with an SUV carrying a coffin as protesters (including children) walked behind the make-shift funeral procession carrying candles." http://articles.boston.com/2011-08-...es-calvey-striking-workers-electrical-workers "The telecommunications company said there have been 12 acts of sabotage to telephone lines and to Internet and television services in Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York since the strike began. Fiber-optic lines were intentionally cut in Tewksbury and several other municipalities on the East Coast, the company said."
(*)(*)(*)(*)ing hypocrites. You want to protest outside your company, or in a public space in a square or something it's cool. But if you come around my house threatening me with a coffin and a candlelight vigil? Someone is going to the hospital. Protesting at a man's home and threatening his family in this manner is completely unamerican. I don't ever want to hear liberals cry about "uncivil" rhetoric ever again.
We have a lot of nice locations in Texas that would work great for Verizon's new home office. But please don't try to get the union thugs into the state, they could get hurt.
This kinda seems like a Saul Alinsky tactic.. by any means necessary.... I wonder if Obama is gonna show up next time ACORN cant seek underaged illegal immigrant sex slaves into the country... Ya know to chuck the first turd in the struggle for collective bargaining rights....
Barry promised that he would be out there throwing shlt with the unions. But he can't break a tradition. Maybe the Attorney General should start an investigation of the Verizon CEO.

Isn't it possible that no feces was thrown at all but instead Verizon did this to humiliate and dehumanize the strikers?
Ask the judge....Verizon apparently had enough evidence of such to convince her to issue a injunction specifying it.
