With huge homelessness ( SF, LA, NYC, Sea, Chi and places with massive illegal aliens ( see above )

These places should be on lock down for another several months
Zero reason why the rest of us should suffer

    Don’t you agree ??
No logic is destroying the nation over a minor bug

ANY place where there are large groups of people is a potential hot spot...and potential incubator for this horror.

    ANYWHERE in the nation.

Jails, work places, nursing homes, assisted living centers.

    ANYWHERE

So large cities with extensive transport connections? This seems like correlation rather than connection (I also can't get the image of a massive illegal alien out of my head now - are you consciously using Trumpisms here?).

Lockdowns and other preventative measures should apply for as long as the expert opinion suggests, regardless of where we're talking about or the make-up of the population.

Absolutely agree, these are all Liberal Havens of Sanctuary for Illegal Aliens, Criminals and Drug addicts that are the worst Humans of having any sense of Social distancing discipline. Wouldn't bother me a bit if they built a Dome over the top of all these places to contain the VIRUS, the Liberal Politicians and the Criminals they Love all together so they can live in Harmony and figure it out themselves and keep the rest of us safe from their horrible policies that spread nothing but misery to responsible people with good ethics.

The main centers of the virus are areas with DENSE POPULATION,New York City and suburbs,New Jersey which has the highest density population in the country,Mass. which has the 3rd highest population density etc ,etc. The more concentrated the population the quicker the spread of the virus.

Hmmm I wonder why the homeless refuse to comply with the stay at home orders.

I mentioned the homeless being a reservoir of disease in this thread: Homeless are suffering extra bad during coronavirus pandemic

But it's more than just that. Even if the US completely eliminates the coronavirus from its territory, there will still be the virus floating around in the Third World. And with mass movement of people, it only takes one traveler (or illegal alien immigrant sneaking into the border) to bring it back.

I think this coronavirus is going to result in a worldwide changed paradigm. Countries are going to start getting more nationalistic (it's already happened).
It will also be easier for people to travel to and from the wealthier more developed countries than it will be for people to travel to and from Third World countries that can't afford health systems to keep the disease in check.

(And we all know that immigrants are concentrated in big cities, and extra dangerous fact in these times. Can't have them routinely travelling back and forth visiting relatives in Mexico and Pakistan)

Unless you mean hotels where each one gets their own room... that doesn't appear to make much of a difference. I don't know if it's counterproductive even...

I don't know about that. Many so-called "Third World" nations have been doing a better job than we have.
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...d-third-world-country.571232/#post-1071601350

The only way the US completely eliminates the coronavirus from its territory is with universal testing and a vaccine. Those who don't believe in vaccination will be at risk. But that's a small group. And, at that point, they'll only be proving Darwin correct.

I completely agree that the paradigm will change. It has already changed. But according to Republicans, we are the ones who can't afford a universal healthcare system. I think that's the main paradigm that needs to shift.

I don't know anything about Pakistan but, on this, I would trust Mexico's healthcare system more than I trust ours right now.

Dense population leads to/attracts more homeless. While the homeless likely spread it amongst eachother, I bet they aren't a substantial spreader to the non-homeless, because those two demographics don't often interact on a close personal level.

But I certainly agree that the entire of the nation shouldn't be shut down for a threat that is only substantial in a few dense clusters of the nation. We're not a single organism. We don't need a blanket treatment.

Yep, according to LW logic, anyone who doesn't instantly boot the homeless into camps out in the desert is KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE!

So you want to place all the burden on regular Americans. Why am I not surprised?

It would be far more effective to address the homeless and illegal aliens, globalism and mass movement of people, but the likes of you don't want to touch that.
So instead your proposed solution is forced vaccination onto ordinary citizens, whether they like or not, and who knows what rare side effects there could be.

Why not? Any danger of Covid-19 remnants can be removed with proper washing. Just like hotels that house medical personnel who treat these patients so they don't go home and infect their families.

The first part makes some sense. But the second part of your post... I mean... the threat is more dense in dense populations. Of course if you live in a city with five million inhabitants, there is the potential for five million people getting infected. Whereas if you live in a city of five thousand, only five thousand can get infected. But how does that imply that the 5 million people city should be shut down, but not the five thousand inhabitant one?

Yes! That is exactly correct. Heavy fines and isolation (properly conditioned prisons might do) for those who refuse. Which has nothing to do with illegal aliens or anything like that. It's a matter of public health.

The homeless are better off outside than inside since the virus spreads faster in enclosed spaces.

The virus is also most prevalent in areas with the busiest Sea Ports in the Country - and airports ... who would have thought ...

And illegal aliens and massive homelessness congregating in major big city areas is not a matter of public health??

Face it, you want to take freedoms away from Americans to pay the cost of your liberal Globalization policies.

    Agreed.

All of America is not the same. Different rules for different places.
