How can you have a flowing discussion, if your posts are awaiting approval?

is an intro thread , but still it was not posted in for several months. What brought this to life? Last posted 3/09 next post 8/27. 5 months wow.

 

Having new members complain about the fact we wish to protect this forum from spammers is also frustrating. We have thousands of members here, dozens of new members signing up each day. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait. We cannot be everywhere at once.

 

It's like the lagging, though. If people complain enough, it'll get fixed. You guys are just choosing to make things hard because it makes you all giggle... right? Not like you're human beings who usually have good reasons.

I appreciate that the mods want to control the spammers and trolls. And that this is their method of doing so. I know that all the current and permanent posters really appreciate that, as well.

I've made several posts so far and only one has been approved. By the time they are all approved, my comments will look very "out of time." At this rate, it would take me a week to get enough posts approved so that I can post "freely."

However, I will come back and check to see if or when I've been given a nod.

 

They will get you approved quickly ok? Honestly they care about the members and I am sure you will be cleared shortly. You can PM a mod or an advisor if you have an issue. If I can be of assistance let me know thank you!!! Madconservative.

PF is tops for a good reason , the Mods bird-dog newbies like you ( but we were all newbies once , ok ? and we ALL got bird-dogged on our posts , just like you , so just grin and bear it , ok ? )

This happens so as to allow the PF Admin & Moderators to screen new members , , , you won't find any crazies & loonies on PF , , , that's what makes PF such a great site to intelligently discuss topics & issues that concern us all , no matter where in the world we are , PF is a Global site . . .

I will say , however , that if you've made 58 posts , ( and that's how many you've made ) and you still haven't been cleared to post , you must have posted something that maybe has raised a flag , so , a word to the wise , maybe tone it down a little bit , ok ?
